After listening to this playlist, I have decided to choose Beethoven, I think he is one of the best musicians that ever lived. He was a German composer and pianist who touched the world in his time and have been touching classical music lovers until this day. I think that even if you do not like classical music, you can feel something going on in your mind by listening to Beethoven’s 9th symphony. According to the article “Classical fm,” Beethoven revolutionized the face of classical music and he continues to inspire listeners and composers to this day. when he combined vocal with musical instruments such as piano.
Thus, There are many other musicians that would have enjoyed listening to their music. However, R. Kelly, in my point of view he is one of the best R&B and Pop music composer, singer of all time. He has not only written music for himself, but for many other musician such as Michael Jackson “You are not alone,” and Withney Houston “I look to you”. For me, R. Kelly changed R&B is still musically as relevant as as he was when he released his first album. His musical ability and influences are undenieble. His music gives me peace of mind, and it will never get old for me.

The Beethoven Symphony #9 in D minor is being announced during the 4th movement of the symphony. Typically, in symphonies, the 4th movements take part in the term of Allegro, which means it is played quickly or fast. However, in Beethoven Symphony, the 4th movement opens with a flurry sound and then is introduced by an instrumental recitative. A recitative is a style of music alternating between speaking and singing words on the same note. In a recitative, the music lines are not repeated even though formally composed songs do.
Since the earliest days of human civilization music has been a key tool for communication of stories which carried emotions through them. If we think back to our youngest years of life music has surrounded us whether it was from our parents singing us lullabies or from some sort of toy that played music we can say that musical melodies have helped shape or lives one way or another. Once we start growing up and figuring out who we are our musical preferences change; some people like classical and some like punk. We start to befriend people who like the same music as us and eventually we may attend a musical event. Our lives somewhat revolve around the music that we listen to.
Beethoven known for pushing the limits and boundaries of classical music was considered a very big influence within the Classical era of music with him also being within the transition of the Romantic era of music as well which shows the genius that came out of this composer who developed his own style. On the other hand there was Mozart who was the best pound for pound composer of the Classical era having the most success at the time and in many ways of all time.
He played a significant role in the Romantic era characterized by emotion and impact. Beethoven constantly pushed music into new areas. Beethoven did this better than any other composer before him. Beethoven had the ability to take a simple idea and work it into a large-scale piece. The first movement of his famous Symphony No. 5, clearly originates from the opening, yet it never sounds repetitive. His pieces were louder, longer and more exciting than anything written hitherto, and the same feeling of exploration and life on the edge shows through his other works as well. Beethoven was one of the most influential composers of the western art music tradition. Beethoven definitely was classified as a ground breaker in all senses. He was able to earn money for his talents and performances. He wrote for wealthy patrons and also earned money from public concerts. He was described as an unsocial and difficult man after he felt isolated by the deafness he had which developed in his 20s. He began realizing that his hearing was becoming impaired. Beethoven was able to compose and he could hear every note and chord he wrote in his mind’s ear. As his deafness continued, socializing and performing was very onerous (New Catholic Encyclopedia,
Beethoven was born in Bonn on December 17, 1770. At the time, Germany was not a unified country but a loose grouping of some 250 states, each of which had its own laws, army, taxes, and to a large extent, customs (see Period Map at the bottom of the page). Beethoven came from a musical family. His father, an alcoholic tyrant prone to bouts of violence, was a singer in the Archbishop's chapel, the Elector of Cologne (the "state" of which Bonn was the capital). He was also a rather unimpressive piano and violin teacher. Beethoven's mother was a cook in the summer palace where his father worked. His grandfather, also called Ludwig, was a trained musician, who had been elected Archbishop's Kapellmeister in 1773.
Music is everywhere in the world today. There are many different kinds of music or genres, but not every type of music is played every day or heard of often. One type of music that is not heard of often is classical symphony. Classical symphony is a “musical work for an orchestra that usually consists of three to four movements that follows form and structure very meticulously” (Green, par.1). When talking about the era of classical symphony there are many different topics to talk about.
I also found that in the article by Daniel Barenboim, it states, “It must be understood that one cannot explain the nature or the message of music through words. Music means different things to different people and sometimes even different things to the same person at different moments of their life.” This is exactly how I feel about Beethoven’s music. Every sport, every genre, every subject, and so forth has to have a starting point. We look in basketball and think of Michael Jordan, we look in music and think of Beethoven, and we look in subjects and think of Albert Einstein. The concept I am trying to get across here is that Beethoven paved the way, but also opened doors for other. Haydn and Mozart deserve credit in this too. Quoted from Mozart, about Beethoven, we can witness he was well respected, “Keep your eyes on him; some day he will give the world something to talk about.” Beethoven did just that! The different feelings I have about Beethoven will not be the same as one of my peers, simply because we interpret things differently. My background, my environment, and even my mentors shaped me versus someone
Extraordinary genius and exceptional composer, Ludwig Van Beethoven was one of a kind. Suspected to be born December 16th, 1770 in Germany, Beethoven began his musical career at an early age (Berg). Not only, but today Beethoven is still regarded as one of the most groundbreaking, respectable, and influential composers of all time. Thanks to Beethoven, the Classical era had its transformation from secular compositions to more non-secular forms of music made mainly for enjoyment, which is known as the Romantic Era (Ledyard). In fact, Beethoven is regarded as one of the founding fathers of the Romantic Era.
The Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68 was composed by Beethoven and was completed in
Music is one of the most fantastical forms of entertainment. Its history stretches all the way from the primitive polyrhythmic drums in Africa to our modern day pop music we listen to on our phones. It has the ability to amaze us, to capture our attention and leave us in awe. It soothes the hearts of billions, and it is so deeply rooted in my life that it has touched my heart as well. Everyday I walk to the beat of the song stuck in my head and hum along to the melody. For me, to listen to music be lifted into the air by the hands of your imagination and float around for a while. You forget about your worries, your troubles and find peace within the sound. Every chapter in my life is attached with a song. Every time I listen to a certain song, thoughts of my past come flooding back
Ludwig van Beethoven was the composer of the most celestial and significant music written at any time. He was the first musician to link the classical period of 18th-century and the novel birth of Romanticism. Beethoven’s absolute step forward in the world of music came in his instrumental work, not forgetting his symphonies. In contrast to his forerunner Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, for whom composing music seemed natural, Beethoven strived to make his work flawless.
In Beethoven 's music is an experience, an act of intellectual creation while released from the rigor of logical thought when the play unfolds its power.
Georgii Cherkin is performing a soloist piano from one of Beethoven classical piece called Für Elise. The conductor name is Grigor Palikarov. The introduction starts off with low pitches making it sound very soft. The introduction of the theme represents “love.” The theme play by the piano begins very pianissimo. There is a low pitch coming from the triangle instrument. The orchestra joins the melody by following the tone of the piano. The melody is repeated with the woodwind family and string family. The middle section has a different melody. The melody is more sharp, and it's becoming more crescendo and forte. Then it goes back to the beginning of the melody but with a little more cellos playing.
Music is an essential part of life because of the expression it allows people to have, its entertainment, and its therapeutic ways for the world.
