There I was running down the soccer field with the ball, the defender on my heels, the goalie in front of me. I was scared that the goalie would block the soccer ball. When I shot the ball it was silence . The goalie blocked the soccer ball. When I saw that it ended up in the goalie’s hands, I felt like I let all the team down and my family. After that day I released that failure is no fun. I learned practice make perfect and help make failures into success. One way I can get better at soccer is to practice harder and remember to communicate with the players. One other way I can get better is to pass the ball more with my teammates . I did those things, and one year I played for this team in my town called Chesterfield United . I scored
On top of that, I learned a valuable lesson from the failure and the loss as well. From that day forth, the past experiences transformed me to be a hard-working and responsible person. Furthermore, I acknowledged that when something bad happens, it can prepare us for the future obstacles, so let always be optimistic and never give up on trying.
It was easy to fall into the trap of thinking that if I had failed then I wouldn’t ever be able to properly do it. With practice, I was able to learn how to parallel park. Even though, there were times when I wanted to quit because I kept failing. I learned that even when you feel like you can’t do it again that sometimes it’s best to just take a break. Sometimes it’s good to just walk away from the situation, do something else , and come back. I’ve learned that if you take a break, you may be able to come back and do better than before. I’ve also learned how to approach failure in the
The first step you would have to do to be successful in soccer is by eating healthy. Eating healthy will give you more energy and potential whenever you’re playing or practicing the sport. You would have to eat vegetables, fruits, and also drink healthy smoothies and of course, a lot of water. You could sometimes eat junk food, but remember to not eat
My biggest accomplishment throughout high school so far has been learning how to fail. Not necessarily falling flat on my face in a viral video, but instead just barely coming up short and not being able to reach a goal, despite my best efforts. Although I was unaware of it at the time, failing my driver’s test on my first attempt would become a life altering incident.
I played soccer since I was seven, as of the last few years I played at a very high level. I have represented Ohio South two times at a regional showcase, I have been invited to participate in a camp in Manchester, England and attended the camp twice. Also last Season for the Newark High School soccer team I was named first team all league and third team all central district. Soccer was the first sport I truly loved to do, I wanted to be the best. I work hours upon hours to master whatever part of the game I wanted to improve on. Soccer has taught me to have a great work ethic, and that mentality came when I was cut from the state team the first time I tried out. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I was destroyed, and I thought I was not good but I knew I could do better. The next year I worked, I got bigger, stronger, faster, my soccer I.Q. was higher;therefore, overall I was a much better player. The result of that work, was that I made the team, but not only, I made the starting line up. After that I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.
Failure can cause a torrent of mixed emotions and thoughts. One can begin to doubt their motives for even attempting to succeed at a certain task. Some people may choose to give up after failure, but there are a select few who rise up to the occasion and move forward to try and succeed no matter how many tries it takes. By overcoming those difficult moments in life, it gives a person a sense of accomplishment and pride and that alone is a beautiful thing.
When I think about my past experiences of when I failed many scenarios come to mind. Us as humans beings are bound to fail at one point in life but its how you learn from them that makes it a fundamental. I came to a realization that all my past failures have played a huge role in my life, all of which have been either a lesson or an eye opener. The most vital scenario is when I failed to make the grade point average (GPA) required by my school to run track my first year entering high school. This event played a major role in my high school life.
A time when I experiences failure is when I made the B team for volleyball. From not making the A team I learn a lot of lessons. I knew that if I wanted to be on the A team then I was going to the have to push myself to improve. I knew that just because I didn’t make the team that I wanted to I shouldn’t give up and quit. I also knew that because I didn’t make the team that I want I couldn’t take it out on other people. I had to show good character and prove that I wasn’t taking it out on anyone else. I also knew that I could set long term and short term goals to reach to become better.
Sometimes days mesh together and every day seems the same, like an endless loop you can not break. Nothing happens or everything happens that you do not think it matters so just go with it like it is nothing, but then you have that moment that snaps you out of it and you feel like yourself again. I have never had talent, none, a lot of people would argue that, but all that they see is the hard work I put into things. I am not the best soccer player, but I work hard and I am rough and that gets the job done. I am not the best person in band, not the best marcher, I am not the best player in the world, but I try.

For me a successful future would include soccer in my life and me being happy. I would be happy becoming a professional soccer player for work because I always dreamed about becoming a pro soccer player and having enough money that I would be able to donate money to the poor people and to the hospitals. I would want my friends and my family to be part of my life because if I become a pro soccer player I would like to share my happiness with them and help them out to become whatever they want to be and if possible make there dreams come true. I would be happy if I could make my dreams come true because I been practicing almost all my life to make them come true. In order to become a pro soccer player I want to move to Brazil or somewhere in
These steps are long and hard but soon I will be playing with the pros. If I follow every step I will make it. I will work hard every day to be the best I can be on the soccer field. I will practice every day and make sure I perfect
I got a ball and started feeling the ball with my feet so that I can get used to it. I found myself that I improved and became the best at soccer compared to my old days after a year playing and practicing with my friends. Through this I learnt that if I have the passion, will and the effort to improve at a particular activity, the hard work that I gave will not betray me. Times
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, the love of what you are doing or learning to do.” This famous quote is from Pele, the best soccer player (in my opinion) who ever lived: Pele. You must have equipment to practice soccer.
There once was a time in my life when expectations and reality did not match up. Something that I worked so hard to get where I am today, for many years until one day realizing that it could not accomplish it. Was very devastating, that part of me that for other people was not worthy, so many dreams down the drain. This was the time, when I did not get a scholarship or recruitment for tennis.
