I always have gave someone a hand when they needed it most. I love helping everyone I can. I have set goals for myself in the future for my education and my career. I have a plan to make sure I achieve my goals, I want to major in Nursing. I have selected this major because I want to help people when they are at their worst, to get better. I love helping people and making them feel better. This major will help me achieve my goal because I want to go as far as I can with my education and I want to become a Registered Nurse. My plans are to work in a pediatric doctors office or, hospital. Getting this scholarship will help me to focus more on school instead of my job to pay off school. Everyday in this world, elderly, adults, teens or children become ill or get into accidents and need medical attention. Whether these elderly, adults, teens or children are taken to a hospital, pediatrician, specialist, or clinic, a doctor and a nurse will tend to them. The nurse plays a role that is just as important as the doctor. Nurses work very closely with the families as part of the caring process. Every member of the family plays a role in different ways. The nurses are there to help the patient as well as the family step through the illness or injury. They provide information for the prevention of future illness and injury, and help to comfort the patient and his/her family. It is vital that a nurse understands that to be a nurse, you need a certain personality and understanding of the field.
Nurses are nice, caring, loving people that will try everything they can to help them get a better understanding of their symptoms. Nurses help their patients by explaining their symptoms in easier ways. Nurses are always listening to their patients to understand what their trying to say and so they know how their feeling. Registered nurses are loving people who love all their patients. People that want to become nurses need to have a loving heart and would love to help people out. People who love helping others should become a registered nurse.
As nursing is a career full of personal and practical awards. I want to be a little more than that. I want to be known as a hero in what I do. I want to join the Air Force Nurse Corps. The career of nursing is beneficial, because of the feeling you get when you’re helping someone in need and for the patient. The research will describe the career of Nursing, what is required to become a successful nurse, and the impact this career has on society. The Air Force Nurse Corps is an organization with a reputation for excellence in giving health care to military personnel and their families. People join the Nurse Corps to lead as a commissioned officer, to serve our country, our soldiers and their family.
My journey to finally realizing of becoming a student in this RN Executive Program has been a long journey filled with excitement and disappointing periods. I 've started this quest in the Summer of 2015 and here I am, two years later, starting my first class in the program, Nursing 301.
The one career that is passionate about helping people is a Registered Nurse. Nurses have a lot of task to attend to throughout the day, but they always make sure the patient is take care of. This would require a lot of time and effort. Some people might say that the money is worth it. There are many reasons a person would want to become a Registered Nurse, but they do not know how serious this particular job really is.
As far as my goals go I have set three short term goals, three mid term goals and three long term goals. One short term goal I have established in order to prepare for my future is to become more familiar about marine biology through reading articles
In some point in time, during a person’s life they run into the question what do I want to be? They must find a career that they will enjoy or the time that they have spent in class and studying will be in vain. While doing research on the Georgia Career Information Center and from the constant idea throughout my life I have decided that I want to become a registered nurse. The type of work environment, the salary that the job provides and flexibility with work hours are all things that have drawn me to this occupation. I want to specialize in Neonatal. I have always enjoyed caring for people and making a difference to someone. When you become a nurse these are just some of the things that you are able to accomplish. Becoming a registered nurse is not an easy thing to do with it being such a popular occupation at the moment, but I am always up for a challenge.
In the near future my goal is to further my studies; in the nursing field as a Registered nurse. Personally, my main objectives to become a Registered nurse are, to help save the lives of other, accomplishing my goal, and living life more independently. These are the qualities that would best describe personality: enthusiastic, loving, caring, compassionate, honest, and a cheerful individual. I grow up to have deep passionate love for people, especially those that are unable to help themselves on a daily basis. I always vision myself attending to someone’s rescue; that is in danger or in critical condition. What I have noticed from a long time ago; is that the nursing industry is one out of many that devotes their time, patient, and input hard work and effort to help meet the need of others and make a difference.
I knew the medical field is where I wanted to be. It is a perfect place for myself, and I know it would be a field i’d enjoy going into. I do have a back up plan if I choose not to become a surgeon. Any doctor, pediatrician, surgeon, and physician assistant requires 8+ years of college. Knowing that I have a long road ahead of myself and not enough money to pay for college, this scholarship will definitely save me some money, and will be used to pursue my dreams.
The Registered Nurse (RN) explains courses of treatment, hope for the future, illness, symptoms, and teaches the patient about the use and benefits of personal recovery and prevention of relapse. The RN is also informs the patient of active treatment; including medication and the intended/unintended effects, and ensures that the patient is educated about choices and resources available. In addition to a “safe environment for all,” this person develops a therapeutic relationship with each patient which is critical in the healing process. A registered nurse works independently to provide quality patient care to patients. This person should also encompass the roles of direct caregiver, patient educator, researcher, and be knowledgeable of components
Women and men can train to be a Registered Nurse, LPN, or CNA. The training to become one these professional on an underline format. One must a study subject, such as anatomy, chemistry, nutrition, pharmacology, physiology, and sociology, working in a laboratory these students learn to care for sick. Training also includes clinical experience this is the time spent practicing on how to care for diverse types of patients. As a part of his/her involvement, they learn a bit about hospital routines and functions of various departments, and get the feel of hospital life.
Goals for me are given opportunities for a lifetime. As I work towards my goals in life I have realized they help me grow as a person. I am a young lady who is balancing life and organizing as things come my way. I take initiative when it comes to projects and solving a problem. I enjoy giving back to my community by doing community service such as: working at the hospital, raising books for Africa, and cleaning my neighborhood. One day I will incorporate my primary goals and community service projects into one as I reach my major goal to become a Registered Nurse. As a Registered Nurse I can change the world with one patient at time.
Why would a person go to college for so many years to become a professional Nurse and risk everything they have worked for to become an addict? In the U.S. it has been estimated that 10- 15 Percent of Nurses have some type of addiction. There is approximately 3 million Professional Nurses employed in the United States, making 300,000 – 500,000 Nurses suffering from addiction. I wish to obtain a college education because I want to make my future the best that I can and I believe that a college education is really important for one to obtain. Without a college education one will not have the ability of success like one will if they decide to go to college. I want to go to college not only to get a higher education but also so I will be able to help other people with my career choice. My plan for the future is to become a registered nurse, and to work in a Hospice house and maybe other places as well. The number of years I spend in college will depend on which of my credits transfer. I have a year and a half left at Gaston Early College High School but after that I want to go on to college to earn my Bachelor’s degree in nursing. I want to become an RN because I will be able to work in many different facilities throughout my life. I also have room for advancement and job security. I love working with people and helping other people in need.
