I dream of being a rapper and famous fashion designer. I aspire to be wealthy and live a good life with a stable family. Everyone has dreams and aspirations, some may have the same as me. The thing that makes me different from everyone is what brought me to have these dreams and aspirations. With everything I have been through with my family and witnessed in my communities, It made me want more for myself and become passionate about music and design since that was my escape. With my family, I have had a hard life. Not saying it was the worst life possible because there are children who had it worst than me. Anyway it started in the third grade, I was removed from my mother's house by Child Protective Services and placed with my grandmother. While in her …show more content…
I woke myself up, got dressed and walked to school everyday. I would come home, do my schoolwork, and often make dinner for myself before I got ready for bed. I wasn't even allowed to have a house key so on some days they forgot about me and i sat outside or went to my friends house that lived down the hill. When I got sick, no one believed me, they thought I was trying to compete with my sister who had sickle cell. I even got sick to the point I was passing out and no one cared. I was also diagnosed with costochondritis, inflammation in the cartilage that connects the breastbone to the ribs, which caused excruciating pain and still went to school. So even when I didn't feel good, I followed that same routine. I couldn't have an actual childhood. I was treated like a baby when it came to doing fun things but i took care of myself any other time. I couldn't go to sleepovers, birthday parties, or go on mall trips with friends. When I went outside I had to stay within the circle of our neighborhood. I took care of myself for five years before my mom was able to rescue me. It was too late though, by 14 I was depressed, unhealthy, and too independent for my own

Although I aspire to be an officer I would really want to go far beyond being a traffic officer or a patrol officer I really hope to reach my goal to work as a federal law enforcer. I grew up watching many television shows such as COPS, criminal minds, cold case, without a trace, and it has always caught my attention to do work closer to criminal profiling, behavioral analysis. Not only did I grow up watching such television shows but I also has a really tough childhood experience that has led to me wanting to make a difference and I know I may not be able to make a huge difference but as long as I am able to help a few citizens that will do for me. My dream has always been to do something great and that is exactly what I will do.
Every person has an American Dream they want to pursue, achieve and live. Many people write down goals for themselves in order to get to their dream. Those never ending goals can range from academic to personal. As of today, I am living my dream. I aspire to become a leader in my family and community inspiring those around me to maximize life to its fullest potential. To use my God given gifts and talents to apply the principles necessary, to make a significant difference in the lives of others. To live a balanced life challenging myself intellectually as well as allowing time for my mind to rest and do things I enjoy. To look at life through a child’s eyes, not being distressed about the past or worrying about the future. All the while dancing like nobody’s watching.
Growing up I had always been asked the infamous question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", and my answer had always been a shrug or a simple "I don 't know yet". If I was asked the same question now, I could confidently and very passionately say, "I want to be a doctor; a humanitarian who brings positive change in someone 's life.". It seems like a very general statement but I truly hope to one day become somebody who can use her expertise and profession to help others.
Throughout my life I have set many goals for myself. Each goal is a small step towards achieving my idea of the American Dream. Every person in America has their own idea or version of what the American Dream is. To me, an American Dream is something that we can all achieve, but it will take a lot of hard work in order for us to be successful. Certain people will dream of happiness and others might dream of wealth, but I believe the dream that I want to achieve is something more meaningful than those things. Three post-high-school goals that embody my idea of the American Dream is attending College of the Ozarks to further my education, own a well managed farm, and in the future, I would like to have a nice house and a family. First off, I want to graduate from college and do it well. I want to be able to do things on the weekends and not worry about having to make things up or anything like that. I am hoping for a scholarship in football, in my opinion that would be a great start for me in college. Then after college maybe pursue that as a career. If that doesn't work out for me then I want to look into athletic training or physical therapy. If those things don't interest me or I don't get into it I am then looking into law. That will take much more time and patience, but it's gonna be the rest of my life.
At home, I never realized anything was wrong with me, because no one ever pointed it out. I used to think it was strange that I couldn’t keep the toothpaste in my mouth when I brushed my teeth, and how I seemed to drool, but no one else did. My parents wanted to protect me, so they never told me. At the age of 5, I entered kindergarten, and I was quickly made aware of my condition. It was picture day, and I was standing in line with the

Although I have many goals in life, two stick out to me the most. They stick out in every decision I make and they help me form good decisions. What I want most importantly in life is to become a pharmacist and to create a family with someone I love. I want the family most importantly because I was raised in a very tight Greek family. I want to raise my kids in that tight Greek family as well.
