I perceive myself to be a person with numerous interests and a range of skills which could have sent me in any number of career directions. Yet, through my experiences over the past four years, I have realized that becoming a health administration system will afford me the opportunity to utilize these skills and challenge many of my interests. This profession will always be growing and will always need qualified employees. As an Administrator, I would be able to make decisions that improve the efficiency of an organization, and manage relationships with other healthcare providers and the community. I believe that people everywhere should always have access to adequate medical care. Where you live should not determine whether you live, and the PA profession was created to improve the availability of healthcare in rural and other underserved areas. This will help me get into schools who have medical programs that I’m considering. Also, taking AP classes can help me save money since I can earn college credit. I’m taking all AP classes, and the electives I’m taking have been classes that have helped me consider being in the medical field. I feel that I am a very hard worker. At my job I have now I am given a to-do list every day I come in and I more than likely finish the list and still have time to do other tasks. I don’t dilly dally around and waist time. I don’t like to stand still when I’m at work. I like to get there get everything done and then leave. Being a hard worker makes me also very dependable. My boss and other people can give me a task they can depend on me to get it done and taken care of and not have to worry about following back and making sure I did it right. In high school I was a life guard, this job required me to take a first aid and CPR certification class and recertified every two years after that. This is a very useful skill when it comes to the exercise
