In 10 years from now I hope I see myself being a successful football coach. Since I was little I’ve always enjoyed watching and playing football. For some reason I’ve always wanted to coach a football team for myself. I want to start out coaching little league first and work my way up until I reached my goal. My goal is to be coaching in the NFL. Although I know there’s going to be a tough challenge. I will have tough obstacles in my way, but I will make it through. I want to win championships. One obstacle I will encounter other coaches competing for the same thing. We all want championships. That’s a must for a coach. If you coach a team into a championship victory, it proves you been succeeding as a coach. “A good team learns from a coach”.
AC 2.4 Recognise any potential barriers to coaching in the workplace and explain suitable strategies to overcome these barriers.
As I have asserted, coaching is far more than winning or losing. A coach is an essential cog in shaping qualities such as sportsmanship, competitiveness, self discipline, and work ethic. A quality coach can build a player up while a bad coach can tear them down. My goal as a coach was to always leave the player striving to be the best they could be. A good coach
Being a Basketball Coach. The reason why i am studying this career is because i want to know what it is like to be a High School, or a College Coach, and a National League Associations (NBA) and just to see how it is to be a coach . My history of this career is that i have been to so many job shadows that are coaches and some coaches are nice too there players and some are very mean. There are a lot of basketball coaches out there and the employment of this job is to make sure your other coaches stay on track with the players to because some of the basketball players just want to go out and party after a game which that is not good for your body to have alcohol or anything else in your body. You can find these jobs everywhere

“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will”. Being a football coach requires someone who can be a great communicator. This person needs to understand communication on both sides an individual can not just demand that it's a one way street where you talk and athletes listen. The career of coaching requires history of the game knowledge of the game, extensive education, and positive and negatives aspects of the game.
As a coach you do fail sometimes and that's what is difficult but Michael Jordan once said, “I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeeded.” I believe that this goes for coaching as well because you are going to fail over and over again and you will soon see that those failures are actually your accomplishments. No one said life was easy but coaching can be easy and it’s a way to connect with players and others and bring out the best in people and show that people can work together and accomplish many things no matter how difficult or hard it is and it can be fun and thrilling at the same
Growing up I was extremely blessed having an incredible coach at every level of sport I participated in. From those experiences I know how much a coach can make a difference in your life. For that reason my dream job is coaching college basketball at any division. It does not matter to me what level, because kids at the D-3 level need just as much guidance and help as student athletes at the D-1 level. During my coaching career I hope to blend two leadership styles in particular together in order to make my athletes better men, but also to keep the game they love fun to play. I feel by taking the Charismatic Leadership style’s enthusiasm and loyalty and mixing it with a Transformational Leaders innovation and emphasis on change, I can be an extremely effective and power leader for my student athletes.
I want to be a Junior Swim Coach because I want to help teach the young swimmers not only how to swim, but to have fun while they are doing it. I also want to be a Junior Swim Coach because I remember how much I learned from my junior coaches and how much fun it was being on the Junior Swim Team. Because of this, I would like to give every Junior Swimmer the same experience I had. I think I am a good fit for the program because I work very well with kids. I am able to have fun with them and be a leader to them at the same time. I believe that having an “out-of-the-water” relationship with the kids I coach is a vital quality in being a good coach and mentor. I think I am able to have a good relationship with the kids and bond with them while
Coaching, however challenging, is a great way to influence the lives of others while also building their character. For as long as there have been sports, there have been people teaching the sport to the players and making them better at it. Coaches must have certain qualities in order to obtain success. One must also look at a coach’s motivation for his job, his passion for what he does, his methods for coaching, and how he became a coach in order to fully understand him. There are many questions someone may want to ask a coach about his profession if they are interested in coaching.

I have won everywhere i have played at during my playing career. Losing is not an option, and i will make this clear to my team. I will do whatever it takes to win. My coaching style would adapt and evolve to whatever was giving my team the best chance to win. I would strive for greatness and be relentless in pursing that. This school would be proud of this team for many years to come. I’m not lying when i say this, for I truly believe i could turn this basketball program into a dynasty given the opportunity.
In today’s society being a coach can be extremely complicated especially compared to earlier years. Coaching requires not only many technical and personal skills but also has to include positive psychology that will affect all athletes regardless of gender, age, and race. After reading various articles this leads me to the question, what is a coach? How do coaches differ from one another? In addition are we forgetting the importance of not only coaching but the sports psychology aspect of coaching overall? Regardless of what you may have read or heard I believe not only do all coaches have their own coaching style but every coaching technique and style is different. Coaching styles and positive psychology are two techniques that can provide
How can one be an effective leader? This question is commonly asked, but rarely answered adequately. In the realm of sports, coaches are the leaders of teams and in the higher levels, of entire organizations. Regardless of one’s interest in basketball, there are countless lessons to learn from these successful men: lessons about leadership, effective communication, and making an impact in other’s lives. Men’s college basketball has produced countless coaches who have proven themselves to be effective leaders, communicators, and role models; behind their leadership and communication is psychology and countless philosophies and strategies regarding practice, team captains, and games.
Legendary coach John Wooden once said “A coach must never forget that he is a leader and not merely a person with authority”. This, I believe is a very important part of coaching, because as a coach you are looked not only as an authority figure but as a role model. I would not be the athlete or person that I am today, if it were not for the role models and coaches that pushed me to be the best that I could be. They were people that I was able to look up to athletically as well as people I knew I could trust. Having a good coaching philosophy is also a large part of being a respectable coach. A coaching philosophy is a set of values and beliefs that a coach develops to help covey his coaching style.
What do people have to do to become a teacher , coach or both? Let me take you back in time. Back then the learned men of ancient times, by default became the teachers. Priests and prophets taught children of the wealthy and noble, the skills to take up their roles as leaders and businessmen. So in other words, people who had knowledge they passed it down. After that knowledge being passed down those people would tell someone else and so on. Back then people with power like priests and king , told people things and people trusted them and of course they listened to them.
