The Beast and Olie are my dogs, the beast is a Boxador pit-bull mix named Kaizer, white with brown brindle coloring, very stocky and muscular. This handsome boy, has hazel blue eyes and the sweetest disposition look to his face. Olie a beautiful white little Maltese fur ball, with pointed ears and a tail that curls around onto the edge of her back. These two fur balls have been friends for a year, when I got the beast at only 6 weeks old. Seeing the way, The Beast and Olie looked when they get to go for a walk as we usually do on nice days, when the wind gently hits your face like a feather brushing across your cheek, the breeze blows through the grass and makes waves like an ocean, a green ocean, the sun is like a warm blanket on my face and
Hey, I didn’t see you there, how are you?I'm just wondering whether or not a big ol' grizzly bear is going to come charging at me at any point in my life, but seeing as grizzly bears are endangered that probably won't happen. In the past, there were thought to be around 50,000 grizzly bears in North America, nowadays they are growing sparse there are estimated to be only around 1800, now not even a 20th of the population in the past. Most of these grizzlies are located in Yellowstone National Park and Alaska, but they can also be found in Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho and Montana. Some are thought to be in Washington.
George Ohr was a mysterious and odd man. He was born in Bolixi, Mississippi July 12, 1857. His origins are from German. Meaning his parents were German immigrants who came to the United States. George Ohr was interested in various many other trades before finally learning about ceramics. He then became interested. He was an educated clay maker learning in New Orleans from a man named Joseph Meyer (“Wikipedia Contributors, George E. Ohr”).
Are these dogs misunderstood? In reality a dog is a reflection of its human, they see you as a pack leader they are who you raise them to be no matter the breed. If you neglect your puppy by chaining them up outside their whole life or keep them in
I. Do you have a dog? Does anyone have a pit bull? Well I happy to say that I am a proud owner of 2 blue pits. Their names are Diamond and Jack, and I never been more in love with dog. They are just like my babies. At the end of the summer Diamond had her first litter. I was in awe’s because I was like I’m a grandmother now. They are more than
There are no perfect dogs in the world but only the most suitable dogs in our family. If we love our most faithful friends, we should not bring pain to them. If we love purebred dogs, we should take good care of them. If we do not excessive pursue purebred, there will be less genetic problems in purebred dogs. Don’t make more purebred dogs cry; don’t make more purebred puppies suffer more genetic diseases, don’t make more homeless purebred dogs, don’t make more purebred dogs die in the shelters. They have already devoted too much for us, so now, it is time for us to do something for them.
Humans and dogs have been pals for what seems like forever. However, all relationships have to start somewhere, and this relationship is no different. From the beginnings of domestication to where we are today, how we have adapted dogs to our needs and how dogs have adapted us to their needs is a story that sounds fictional. This couldn’t be further from the truth. We call them Man’s Best Friend for a reason--we artificially created them to become our best friends, and they created the mannerisms we use today.
The Beast (aka The Beast of War) is about a Soviet T-62 tank lost in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1981. The movie was released in 1988. It was based on a William Mastrosimone play entitled Nanawatai. It was directed by Kevin Reynolds, who later directed Waterworld. It starred George Dzundza, Jason Patric, Steven Baldwin. A Soviet tank unit in Afghanistan helps "clear out" a village, destroying it. One of the tanks, led by a ruthless Commander Daskal, orders the crushing of a captured prisoner under their treads of the tank. Leaving the village, Daskal's tank is separated from its unit and is soon lost. Mujahadeen warriors, led by the murdered prisoner's brother Taj, discover the lost tank and see an opportunity to take revenge. Knowing that the tank is in a valley with only one exit, they begin following its tracks, intending to use a captured RPG to attack it. Some women from the village also follow along with captured grenades in hand. The tank crew is made up of four Soviets and one Afghani. As night falls and the crew sets up camp, the Afghan tank crewman Samad teaches the tank driver, Konstantin Koverchenko, about the fundamental principles of Pashtunwali, the Pashtun people's code of honor: melmastia (hospitality), badal (revenge), and nanawatai, which requires even an enemy to be given sanctuary if he asks. We then see that Commander Daskal, called "Tank Boy" during the Great Patriotic War for destroying a number of German tanks in the Battle of Stalingrad, is not ruthless only to the enemy, but also to his men. He despises Samad and kills him on the pretext of suspecting him a traitor. After Konstantin threatens to report Daskal for the killing, Daskal orders the other two crew members to tie Konstantin to a rock, with a grenade to serve as booby-trap for the Mujahadeen. Some wild dogs come upon him and as Konstantin tries to kick at them, the grenade rolls down the rock and explodes, killing a dog but leaving Konstantin unhurt. The sound, however, draws the group of Afghani women. They begin to stone him and are soon joined by the mujahadeen. Konstantin is saved when he remembers Samad's lesson about "nanawatai," sanctuary. He calls out the word and the mujahadeen are obligated to take him with them. Camping out in a cave, they feed him and ask him to fix the broken RPG.
Three kinds of dogs that are related are Boxers, Boston terriers, and Bulldogs. The Boxer is a happy, high-spirited, playful, and energetic dog. Also, Intelligent, eager and quick to learn. It is on the move continuously and bonds very closely with the family. Loyal and affectionate, Boxers are known for getting along really well with children. The Boston Terrier is gentle, alert, very smart, well-mannered and enthusiastic. But without the proper amount of mental and physical exercise they can be crazy at times. They are very sensitive to the tone of your voice. Boston's like to learn and therefore are not difficult to train. Although the English Bulldog’s appearance can be somewhat scary, it is a very gentle dog. Just the same it will scare off any intruder. It is a very affectionate and dependable animal, gentle with children, but known for its excellent guarding. Bullheaded and determined, this breed can be very persistent. I have both Boston terriers and Boxers because they are just adorable, very affectionate, and impossible not to love.
Having a dog can be a great experience for people who enjoy their company. These animals are usually friendly and active; they are intelligent and can develop a strong relationship with their owners based on love and care. However, having dogs is a big responsibility for the person who owns them, because they are animals, so they cannot support themselves. Dogs need someone who can feed them, give them love, and someone who can help them exercise. Moreover, these animals need big spaces in order to run and develop their muscles, so the owner has to know that he needs to take a walk with the dog several times a day.
Animal shelters are overflowing with dogs; this is a well known fact. For some dogs, this stay at a shelter is a quick stop, and for others, it may last a lifetime, but for the purpose of this essay, the dogs spoken of will be thought of at no-kill shelters. Two breeds find it increasingly hard to catch the eye of their potential adopters: Those two breeds are the Pit bull and the Chihuahua. Why would these two breeds have such a hard time being adopted? Pit bulls and Chihuahuas are greatly overlooked in shelters, and this essay will compare and contrast the things that keep these dogs in shelters; such things are physical appearance, common stereotypes, and behaviors that will either lead to adoption or deter potential adopters.

...r our 220 pound Great Dane that towered over us. With proper care and love throughout their lives, these dogs did nothing but warm our hearts.
Dogs are wonderful creatures. They are loyal, dependable companions if given the opportunity. In recent years I have come to the opinion that we could learn something from these animals. We should also take a look at the manner in which they are being treated. Abandonment, irresponsible breeding, and neglect are only some of the ways that humans are failing the canine species.
It is a sad truth that many animals in the United States are without homes. In fact, four million cats and dogs are put down in animal shelters annually (“Pet Overpopulation”). However, there is one organization trying to change this statistic. The Progressive Animal Welfare Society is focused on giving animals a home, as well as educating the public about animal care.
When I started hanging out with Anthony I met Pancake first (her nickname is Patty or Pattycake). I was really scared of her when I first saw her because she was a big dog and all the pets we have at home are small so I wasn’t used to her size. She didn’t bark at me she just wanted to jump on me and always smell me. After awhile I would pet her more and more and then I wouldn’t mind her being all up on me. When you first look at her she looks kind of silly because her bottom teeth just stick out. I don’t know what kind of dog she is but I love the way her fur looks. Junior didn’t come along till later, Anthony’s mom bought junior from a friend and he is a smoky grey Pitbull. They got junior before they moved houses so he was still a baby. Now he is 5 months. A week ago he got out of the gate and he was lost for about two days but then we found him thankfully. Junior likes napping with Anthony’s mom, he loves eating fruit loops and he loves Pattycake. I love his fur color and how he is so tiny right now. I know he is going to get a little bigger and right now he is going through a teething stage which is cute but it has the yard tore up. Both of these dog are wonderful and I love that they are so sweet and playful. Even though they are not my dogs I still cherish
