Batman was just about the start searching the city for more victims when another APB rang out. Yet again a body had been found, this time it was found on top of a factory in the Old Towne district. This victim was similar to the other two victims, head wrapped in bandages and was dressed in a hospital gown. The word “Broken” was also spray painted above the victim’s head. However, this victim was different the last two, because this victim was a woman. This ruled out the serial killer only targeting men, the killer was after everyone. Once again Batman found the cause of death to be cardiac arrest caused by an overdose of oxycodone. The building looked desolate and was covered with graffiti. Batman knew that was the place, he busted the lock and made his way on in. Once inside he was greeted with the same eerie opera music that had been with him throughout his journey. He broke down a wood panel and continued to towards the basement. As he came closer he found that the music was being accompanied by the voice of a large man. He then saw a large man in a pig mask in a large surgical room cutting into a body. This person was still alive, they were begging the man to stop, by screaming “Please, stop, I can’t take anymore!”. Batman further inspected the room and saw that there were five bodies that appeared to be dead as well as six healthy individuals in cages, who seemed to be unharmed. Batman had to move carefully, he did not want Lazlo to kill the man on the table because Batman interfered. However, he did have to act quickly, he positioned himself to the side of Lazlo and quickly threw a batarang and knocked the knife out of his hand. Lazlo screamed “You’re interfering with my perfect work!”. Batman then disclaimed “It’s over Lazlo”, Lazlo then replied “I am Professor Pyg, and I am far done, I need all my subjects to be perfect”. Professor truly believed that he was curing these people, by making them what he believed to be perfect. Batman asked why he displayed the other victim’s out on the streets of Gotham. Professor Pyg said “Because, they were imperfect, and I could not do anything to fix them, I wanted the world to know that they were flawed”. Batman thought to himself about all of the identifiers on the victims. They all had scars, prosthetics or deformities. Pyg wasn’t able to handle people who did not what he considered to be “flawless”. Professor Pyg then charged at Batman with all of his might, striking him in the face.
