Most schools offer a variety of activities, classes, and clubs. Some students like to do sports. The sport I like to do is basketball. Most student like to play basketball. When playing basketball, you get a thirty-minute workout. The workout starts with a three-minute jog after the jog we do ten minutes of lifting dumbbells, last, we start on the lay-ups, three pointers, two pointers. That’s how we start in basketball club.
In basketball it’s a good sport to keep you in good conditions. We have two gyms that we practice in. The “New Gym” has a distinctive smell. I think it smells like sweat and hard work. We always have worse practices in the new gym. I like practicing in our main gym. The good part about the new gym is that there are no stairs in the new gym. In the main gym, we must run stair laps, they are awful. Instead of running stairs in the new gym we must run down and backs.

On the surface, basketball has a number of impacts on young people. For instance, the boys and girls who participate in basketball learn certain positive character traits. They help students experience and build skills that may help them in their future, like interpersonal and time management skills. Education may kindle the light of knowledge, but sports help to maintain the proper physique. Sports are also an important means of entertainment and a use for energy after long hours of study. Sports increase a student’s performance not only in the classroom but also in their life.
When discussing the physical impact basketball has had on my life, I will not hesitate to state that, I used to be overweight, but now I have a normal weight. Due to the vigorous exercises we did during the game, I was able to develop physical fitness and better shape. I understood what my body could do and had been able to maintain this ability. Therefore, establishing a lifelong habit for good health.
