Why Books should not be banned
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies; the man who never reads lives only one.” It is long been said that books are the assets that can take a nation from the earth to moon and can rebuild the destiny of the nation. Books are public wealth and should not be banned to any of the persons that can read and want to read that. Books are amazing things, full of adventures, romance, and discoveries! Books can bring us to amazing places like Narnia, Germany, and even another person’s mind. Many famous stories like "Harry Potter", "Divergent", and “The Hunger Games” inspire us to be brave, to dream, and to use our imaginations. I think that books should never be banned in the United States or anywhere else. So, one could think why some books are banned for people and how that can impact the scenario.
A few reasons countries ban some books are because they feel they are violent, negative, or have racial issues. There are many more reasons that books are banned, like sexual situations or dialogue, the story is age inappropriate, the presence of witchcraft, encouragement of "damaging" lifestyles, blasphemous dialogue, religious affiliations, or political bias. If Romeo and Juliet or the Bible didn’t exist, the world wouldn't be the same. I would hate it if my favorite book series had never existed! Books give us something to do on a long car ride, at a boring family thing, or just in general. So now any thoughts you ever had on banning books should have disintegrated! Books are fun, inspirational, and amazing. The meaning of a book is different for everyone, if you don’t like reading a book is just a stack of papers with a cover, if you love reading then a book to you is full of adventure, excitement, and fun.
