Learning a musical instrument calls in for a lot of patience, concentration and interest. The video “music to me” mainly discusses how people viewed learning music in the beginning and what they feel about it now. Initially, the individuals’ committed that they didn’t like to learn music. They hated it and felt as if they were being tortured. Majority of the people hates to learn any instrument at first because learning an instrument needs a like and passion for music. Learning music is a step-by-step process so we need to be patient to learn it. Gradually, with practice, the individuals explore music and taste the language of music. Zander wanted to exhibit his ideas and make the audience aware about the importance of classical music. He aimed to capture the minds of the audience at first by telling them that everyone loves classical music. His presentation was very lively and fun filled that didn’t bore the audience. His language was simple and easy to understand. He knew the tactics of how to gain audience attention. He placed direct interaction with his audience and created a lively ambience. He had so much of confidence in his speech that he challenged the audience that he would convince them to love classical music. He spoke about various notes and impulses which he played and tells us about how he keeps playing the note so that it doesn’t come to an end. Zander convinces that everyone likes classical music, even if they don’t realize it. I was also inspired by his attitude towards life and music. He expresses classical music as a beautiful feeling as it sometimes makes you cry and sometimes it makes you feel happy. He wanted to change the mindsets of people who didn’t like classical music and wanted them to experience the sweetness in classical music. He believed in what he had to share.
