- For cafeteria procedures, the student start from the playground. They would line up and go back inside the building around 10 minutes early to get their hands wash. We would take them to the rest room, and have boys and girls make two lines and start to wash their hands and use the rest room if needed. Once done, one student will carried a big basket that held the lunch boxes that they dropped in before the morning start. Inside the basket are also their I.D. for students who eat school lunch. Once all the lunch box and I.D. passed out, we would walked them down to the cafeteria. In front of the cafeteria, another teacher would take over and her job is lunch duty. - The morning procedure is that there will be a teacher standing where the parent drop off by car and another teacher stand by the entrance where the bus dropped the student off. They would remind the student to walk to the gym or the cafeteria depend on the grade level. Then the morning bell would ring at 7:50 where the student would then walk to their classroom.
- The bus procedure is that when the bus drop the student off, they have to go directly to the gym or the cafeteria. There are some student who allow to go see their teacher if their teacher give them permission to be in the classroom before the morning bell for whatever reason it might be.
- For the carline procedure, the parent would have to drive around the school building (stay on the right lane, the left lane is for driving only. Parents are not allow to drop the student off using the left lane for safety reason). Carline entrance, bus entrance, or go to the atrium where a van will pick up the student for afterschool care program runs by the district. Each teacher have a place to monitor. Three teachers in the carline, one for the afterschool care, and two teacher for the bus. Carline teacher would have the student sit in the hallway. One teacher would be outside by the door and whenever a car drives up, they will hold out a sign that has the child’s name and their teacher’s name. That teacher will then call out the student’s name so the teachers inside the building can escort the student out to their car. This way, it prevent student from running around and getting lost or get hit by a car during pickup. For the bus dismissal, the teacher who is assigned for that duty will be assigned a bus. She would have to stand by the bus and escort the student on the bus safely. In my classroom I will make sure that the children with special needs are benefiting from instruction. I will pair this student up with someone who is capable of helping. The student will be getting my instruction as well as help from one of their peers. I will be aware that this student is a learner with special needs and I will teach this student at a level in which he/she is comfortable. I will make sure I am aware of everything that I can about this student?s special needs. I will be in a tight contact with the student and his/her parent/guardian so I can be aware that they are working with him/her at home. If this isn?t the case then I will pair this student up with another student after school, with myself, or with someone else that would be willing to give this student extra time.

Infection control is very important in the health care profession. Health care professionals, who do not practice proper infection control, allow themselves to become susceptible to a number of infections. Among the most dreaded of these infections are: hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C (HCV), and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Another infection which has more recently increased in prevalence is methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). These infections are all treated differently. Those who finish first wait for the others out of politeness and courtesy. After everyone is through eating, someone will suggest that we leave and we will all take our trays up to the dishwashing counter and then leave. Near the tray drop-off counter, we are hit with hot, sticky air from the dishwashing. We quickly leave our trays and continue out of the cafeteria as a group. On our way out we talk to each other and friends that we see sitting at other tables. Often, students will plan out what they will do later in the day while talking to friends and finding out what is going on. Eventually, the group will split up and goodbyes are said. We go back to our rooms with a full stomach and a full mind.
Parents and students seldom dispute the disciplinary actions of school authorities up until the late 1960s. Schools are a place considered to provide instruction, instill good value, and inspire the morals of our nation (Arum 60). The courts decided that it was important to give teachers and school administrators’ authority over student behavior. The authority initiated from the English common law concept of in loco parentis which means in place of the parent. This law allowed parents to give school personnel a given amount of control over their children when they place their children in school (Yell 8). This gave administrators and teachers the ability to guide, correct, and discipline in an orderly and effective learning environment while maintaining practical control of students as they do their job teaching. Loco parentis implies that teachers and administrators have a responsibility to see that school order is maintained by requiring students to obey reasonable rules and commands, ensure others rights are respected, and conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner while at school (Yell 8). Students are supposed to know what behaviors are acceptable or forbidden. They need to be accountable if they refuse to comply with reasonable school rules by behaving in prohibited ways. Holding the students accountable, means the violators will be subject to disciplinary measures or consequences.
