It’s the time for a never ending debate among pop fans that lived through the late ’90s and early 2000s ‘N Sync or Backstreet Boys? Back in the day, these two groups pretty much ruled the radio airwaves and TV, with their tunes jamming from car stereos and cd players all over the world and their music videos playing nonstop on networks like MTV and VH1. Still to this day twelve years later I’m still being asked to choose between Backstreet boys or ‘N Sync and today so are you. I believe backstreet boys surpasses ‘N sync in many different ways. They have Heart devoted fans, meaningful music, and they stick together as a group. First things first, let’s talk about the devoted fans that stand out in the heat, cold, or pouring …show more content…
‘N sync only came out with one “this I promise you” while backstreet boys came out with multiple ones like “I’ll never break your heart” ,”shape of my heart” ,“quit playing games with my heart” ,“incomplete” and many more. The best boy band song of all time is “I want it that way” I’ll admit “bye bye bye” was a decent song, but when you ask someone to name the most well-known boy band song they will definitely say “I want it that way”. Plus back street boys performed a concert…in heaven in the most hilarious movie “This is the end” the boy band gave a secluded concert in heaven to Seth Rogen. I don’t know about you but that’s pretty much how I predict the afterlife. Okay, yea I did love “Tearin’ up My Heart.” But by large I find it difficult to remember any of ‘N Sync’s other songs, while Backstreet boys music fills my head on a daily basis. The simple fact is amongst the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync, one group still finds it’s advantageous to be together and sell out stadiums while the other is becoming more of a cold memory each and every
Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. The band originated from Chicago's hard-core punk scene, with which Wentz was heavily involved. The group was formed by Wentz and Trohman as a pop punk side project of their respective hard-core bands, and Stump joined shortly thereafter. The group went through a succession of drummers before landing Hurley and recording their debut album which became a huge success.
America had a successful revolution due to the motley crew, despite the lack of recognition and amenities they received for their contributions. “A Motley Crew in the American Revolution” by Peter Linebaugh and Marcus Rediker highlighted the motley crew for their influence on the American Revolution, and provided information and background generally not given in a standard textbook. The motley crew, comprised of sailors and slaves in a literal sense, and the urban mob in a political sense, paved the way for the American Revolution and the founding documents through rebellions, uprisings, conflicts, protests, and violence. This group of men changed the world in the opposition of forced labor, press-gangs and slavery in particular, through influencing
The Life of Billy Joel Billy Joel was born on May 9, 1949 in Bronx, New York. He moved at the age of four to a small town on Long Island. Boy bands were a staple in the 1990’s, but a common question emerges when it comes to choosing the best one: Backstreet Boys or Nsync? Boy bands are remembered for their iconic dance moves, lyrics, looks, and overall archetypes. Considering the criteria, Backstreet Boys is clearly the number one boy band of all time. Members of the band have specific roles, or archetypes. Backstreet Boys has every one of those archetypes, and has shaped them for future bands.
The things I like most about N’Sync are the fact that they went from having no talent and no money to having no talent and lots of money. It’s good that magazine publishers have made entire series of magazines all about them. I enjoy reading the countless articles and interviews about them, because I say “The more, the better!!” Without N’Sync, many teenaged girls wouldn’t have music to listen to, or any pictures to put on their walls.
Lost Boys of South Sudan was a name given to the thousands of young boys orphaned or torn from their families by the Sudanese Civil War. These young boys walked sometimes as much as a thousand miles to reach refugee camps in Ethiopia and Kenya. The US allowed as many as 4000 Lost Boys to emigrate to America providing them with endless opportunities. Gia Nyok and Lopez Lomong were able to reach prominence in America and help their communities in Sudan despite the struggles they endured as Lost Boys.
The fair weather fans are committed to one team and are only with the team they successful and are successful. This study demonstrated that pop music influences happiness mood. As hypothesized participants in the pop music category were influence by the music and seem happier. The analysis revealed that participants in the rock and classical music categories didn’t have an effect in their mood. The results for rock and classical music did not supported the hypothesis, which rock music causes a person to have an aggressive mood, and classical music will lead to a calmer mood. There wasn’t no effect between rock music and aggressive mood. Classical music didn’t have a relationship between classic music and calm mood. The results of this study wouldn’t be able to support (Jordana Mena, 2007). This consists of classical music being composed with different emotions based on the key and time signature it is on. If the classical piece is written in a higher key then they saw different mood responses than the classical pieces written in a low key (Jordan Mena, 2007). This study has provided that music is more than just a piece, of a lyric, beat, or instrument it has been proven that music can help people ...
Pop music has long been defined by “idols” and superstars that are subjects of high levels of adoration from severely devoted fans, whose love of these superstars often blurs the line between fandom and obsession. This love is mainly based off of physical looks and charm more often than actual musical talent, as majority of the songs written by these massive superstars are not written by the artists themselves, instead by people hired to write for these artists in a way that will best connect with a crowd willing to spend their money on these manufactured stars. Therefore, it has become evident that in the world of popular music, image has overtaken talent as the determining factor of success in the industry. Instead of skill and songwriting ability, good looks and the ability to draw large crowds of impressionable people have become the main factors of fame in music.
In a world full of imitations, the Backstreet Boys are definitely not just another fabricated, bubblegum-pop boy-band, but are a multi-talented group of real musicians. With each Backstreet Boy having his own unique experiences in such areas as: acting, singing, modeling, and playing instruments, it is obvious that it would add flavor to their phenomenal voices, and lead them to fame and fortune. “Honestly, looking at them for the first time with their country, down to earth, all American boy image, I thought they were out of their heads. Eventually, their vocal abilities and their passion for music changed my mind,” stated their former manager, Johnny Wright on VH1 Music Television. Although it may seem as if success was easily handed over to them, these five regular guys from Orlando, Florida experienced many struggles on their bumpy road to the top.
With music, comes a story. Adele is constantly cultivating new emotions and experiences with her often sombre ballads. Taylor Swift is strikingly honest and offers the world a new storybook about real love and real life with each album release. NWA opened up the eyes of the world to the reality of police brutality and oppression towards people of colour. These artists with such different styles and methods are all similar in what they offer. They offer a story. Often the singer may lack in vocal abilities and while this is unfortunate, it does not matter. What is important is the lyrics, the music. Those are the significant aspects that conform music in the world as
Now back to the artists. A constant flow of standard predominance has kept everyone's eyes on the ATL, Migos. The hip-hop American trip group, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff is Atlanta’s number one successful group right now. The Migos reached the highest peak of their career when "Bad and Boujee" hit Hot 100 on the chart and their hot album, CULTURE, appeared at Number one on the Board 200 collection. Future was the only solo artist in history to release two records that was showcase at Number one in consecutive
John Quincy Adams once said “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Justin Timberlake started inspiring and helping people at the age 14 when he joined NSYNC. Because of his leadership qualities, artistic skills and humanitarian efforts, Justin Timberlake is a great leader, with good influence on the rest of society.
