backline. My fitness weakness is my speed. Speed is defined as the ability to put body parts into action quickly. Speed is used to sprint. Sprinting is anaerobic respiration which is working at a very high intensity or at your maximum level of exertion. Skill / tactic strength – fully justified with reference to recent performances Within my chosen activity of football I have decided to highlight passing as one of my strengths. Passing the ball is a key part of association football. The purpose of passing is to keep possession of the ball by manoeuvring it on the ground between different players with the objective of advancing it up the playing field. A goalie is a person that stays back in the goal she can use her hands but only if she is in the goal box. A Defender is the person who stays back towards the goal and tries to take the ball away and kick it up to either the midfielder or the forwards before the ball gets to the goalie. Next is the midfielder their job is to run up and try to score and if the ball gets taken away their job is to run back and help play defense. The forward is a person who tries to score but if the ball gets taken away they do not run back to help play defense because if their team gets the ball back they won’t have anyone to pass up to.
