Sport 1: Australian Rules Football (AFL)
Australian Rules Footballer has many physical demands.They need to have a good body size, have a lot of strength as well as power, speed, agility, endurance and flexibility. Likewise, an AFL player needs to be strong, fast and aerobically developed, meaning that they are required to be fit. An AFL players weight ranges from 80 kg to 110 kg, while their height is in the range from 175 cm to 210 cm. The skills required for an Australian Rules Footballer is kicking, handballing, marking, picking up, ball handling, bouncing, tackling, evading, shepherding and ruck work.

An Off Season, a Pre Season and a Competitive Season. The Off Seasons provides the player with 6 to 8 weeks of little or no training. The outline for the Pre Season is 2 to 4 months of training, generally starting in October. This period of time, will ensure that the players undertake up to 14 to 15 sessions a week, where the practice the skills of sprint training, aerobic conditioning, resistance training, game theory sessions, recovery session and attendance at physiotherapy sessions. For breakfast, oatmeal porridge, banana, 2 half boiled eggs and milk. For lunch, carbohydrates, veggies and protein, whereas for dinner, the swimmer is opened to anything. On top of this a post swim snack of chocolate milk and fruit, a mid morning snack of fruit salad and yoghurt, and a second post swim snack of chocolate milk and a sandwich.

Ultimately, sports nutrition can be very interesting and should be taught to all. There are 7 types of nutrients the should ideally be consumed in our everyday meals. This will help with physical and mental health.
