Q: What three words best describe you and why?

A: I think the best three words to describe me would be intelligent, talkative, and imaginative. I think these words describe me well because first, I am intelligent because I love to read books. I also enjoy writing letters to my favorite book character, Atticus Finch. Whenever I don’t know what a word means I look It up in the dictionary or on google. It has expanded my vocabulary delightfully. Second, I am talkative because I love having conversations with my friend Lisa. I also tell everything about my day to my other friend, Plant. She is a plant that I usually keep in my room. Lastly, I am imaginative because I love to compare things, like once I thought about how Atticus Finch would make a good cowboy. I also have Plant who of course, can't really talk but I still like to speak with her.

Q: Describe your family.

A: Well, I am an only child, I guess. My brother died when he was a baby, but I survived. I have a Mom and a Dad, but my Mom doesn’t live with me at my house. I usually get along great with my Dad unless he’s drunk. I have only visited my Mom twice that I can remember, and I haven’t spoken to her in either of the visits. Something bad happened when I was young and my Mom was moved to a hospital. I best get along with my dad because he is the only one that I am usually around, and lives with me.

Q: Tell us where you grew up and what your childhood was like.

A: I grew up in many places, my dad and I moved houses a lot because of the incident when I was a baby, when people found out it was us and started being mean we moved to another town. My childhood wasn’t like most other kids. I spent a lot of time thinking if I was going to grow up to be crazy, like my mother had been. I analyzed things that I did to see if that was a sign i was going to, Like talking to plants and writing letters to fictional characters.

Q: What is the biggest Problem you have ever

faced?

A: I guess the biggest problem I have ever faced is wanting to run away to see my mother. I was really mad at my dad and I really just wanted to see her. I planted plant in the backyard so the neighbor’s sprinklers would reach her. And, I even went as far as to get a fake ID to ride the bus with.

Q: How did you overcome this problem?

A: My dad found out about my plan. He told me I could go with him to see Her and we did. But I was still mad at him and didnt walk to talk to him or be near him so he sat far from me on the bus. I think my mom saw me, but we didnt talk.

Q: What is the greatest lesson you have ever learned?
A: I would have to say the greatest lesson I have ever learned is to stick by your family. I shouldn’t have run away or doubted my mother. Everything will always turn out OK if you stay around those who care about you.

Q: Who is your best friend and why?

A: Hmm. I would have to say my overall best friend would be Plant. I like her because she always helps me solve my problems. She also is very easy to talk to and she never interrupts me. She listens to everything I have to say and it’s very hard not to get along with her! But,if you are talking about human best friends it would be Lisa. Probably because we like to talk a lot, and we love to dare each other and challenge each other to do different things.

Q: Talk about a major event in your life and how it has affected you.

A: Ok, a major event that happened was when I was very young. My mother once tried to drown my brother Simon, and I. I survived but my brother did not. I don’t remember it but I have heard about it from my dad a little bit. It’s a really touchy subject with him. It has affected me in a lot of different ways. Mostly, it has caused us to move a lot. It has also made me wonder what it would be like if simon was around and if I am going to turn out crazy like her.

Q: If you could change one thing about your life what would it be and why?

A: If I could change anything about my life it would be for my mom not to be crazy. It would be so awesome for my brother to be here and not to have to move a lot. I would be a lot less stressed and a lot happier. My dad also probably wouldn’t be doing drugs. It would be the best!

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: I most definitely see myself as an author. I enjoy writing so much and I even keep 3 journals full of writing. One is my fake diary, where I write normal things like what I got for my birthday and things like that. Then there is my real diary, where i write down all my real feelings. Last, There is my journal full of letters to atticus finch. And, I think i have the time and potential to write all kinds of books.
