Assignment 3
1. Reviewing research literature provides opportunities to evaluate and analyze prior work. By reviewing prior work, we are able to be more specific in any new research, reframe the concept approach from a different perspective, design and implement different methods, note the strengths and weaknesses of the research, and compare it to other research done by others.
2. Upon review of other research, the researcher will be able to identify areas that need adjustment in their initial hypothesis. The process of stating a hypothesis or posing a question changes as new information is uncovered and other research is performed. It is a constant refining process.
3. Credibility is a building process. As further research is performed, information will confirm findings, show areas that require additional research, disagree with research results, and/or reveal credible sources of information. The principle is that as more research is performed, the credibility of the research improves.
4. Contradictory findings in research can be helpful in determining better methods of

The first step in conducting a Review of Literature is to identify the appropriate topic using specific terms that correspond with the topic. Such as researching student behavior may involve terms such as class environment, student activity, and engagement. The second step is use a literature database. The database will help narrow down the specific information related to the topic. It will include journals, documents, articles that pertain to the research project. The third step is to be very accurate in the wording to be used in the research. Accessing information from an appropriate thesaurus, such as the ERIC Thesaurus, allows the researcher to be very accurate in performing the study. The last step in the Review of Literature is to actually perform the search for the information related to the initial topic. The review should be organized by the topic

The audience for writing project one: summary and response will be my classmates and my instructor, Avon Waters. I am writing this for English 111 – an online Ivy Tech college course. This is the first writing project of four for semester one. The assignment is to select a core reading resource from the group listed and perform a summary and response style paper, using proper APA formatting and introducing the concept of a situation analysis. The core reading piece I have selected is one that personally interested me, as it deals heavily with history and facts versus opinions and controversy. This will be in APA format, as with every other paper written in this course. My goal with this paper is to offer additional insight into the piece I
The power rule is to be applied to get rid of “h” from the denominator, which equals to 1/h loga (1+h/x ). According to the power rule , 1/h is to be moved next to (1+h/x ), which equals to loga (1+h/x )^(1/h). In conclusion, (loga(x+h)-loga(x))/h= loga (1+h/x )^(1/h) is true. In addition, “h” cannot equal to zero because it would make the equation
Availability is having sufficient energy supplies. According to the article, it helps a nation to be energy independent. In addition, it promotes various energy technologies. The article also states that availability harnesses domestically available resources of energy and fuels ensuring there is a reasonable reserve to the ratios of production. The underlying values of availability are disparity, self-sufficiency, balance, resource availability, variety, supply security, imports, and independence.
also point out that: “Literature reviews helps to develop and expand your research ideas, and although you may have some knowledge of your research topic, the literature review ensures you are familiar with recent developments and have a complete understanding of the relevant topics” (Hair et al, 2007, p.94). Even though we already have some knowledge about GBR, a literature review has helped us with expanding our ideas about what areas we needed to focus on, and what to include in the thesis. And in addition we also discovered a great deal of significant material that became crucial for the research.
The literature review is important to find credible, reliable, and relevant sources that fit the research problem. “To achieve its purpose, the literature review may examine issues of theory, methodology, policy, and evaluation that relate to the effectiveness of a policy or intervention” (Krysik & Finn, 2013, p.66). Annotated bibliographies and abstracts also provide information about different sources and this can be helpful for evaluating sources when doing a literature review. “An annotated bibliography includes a summary or evaluation of each of the sources” and when writing one it can help to establish if the sources used are relevant and apply to the research topic that is being investigated. (Stacks, Karper, Bisignani, & Brizee, 2013).
The chosen signature assessment, Tutoring Project, is an assignment from EDMU 520, Literacy and Language in K-8 Classrooms I. This signature assessment expresses the Program Learning Outcome (PLO) number 2, PLO number 3, and PLO number 4. PLO number 2 is Culture, which is describing differences in the cultures of individuals served. PLO number 3 is Instruction, which is being able to implement evidence based and multifaceted methodologies and strategies for teaching and engaging students with exceptionalities. PLO number 4 is Assessment, this is how to utilize achievement tests to assess students in a comprehensive manner.
Unit 5 deals with emotions and motivations, emotions are the intangible characteristics of our personality that identify all stages of our behavior. From happiness to sadness, from anger to fear and many more we express our feelings according to any situation we are in at a given time.
If they decide that there is ample material on the specific topic at hand, the team moves on to the next phase of the Iowa model. If sufficient amounts of research do not exist on the subject, a research study may need to be carried out (Brown, 2014). This stage also consists of the research team evaluating the rigor of the research that they have collected (Doody & Doody, 2011). It is important to have an analysis procedure in place for all members of the research team to follow when evaluating research studies to ensure consistency in the appraisal of the quality and precision of each research study found (Doody & Doody, 2011). According to Doody & Doody (2011), “effectiveness, appropriateness, and feasibility” (p. 663) are three of the grading standards that researchers can use in evaluating research studies.

The purpose of literature review is not only for reviewing a current knowledge of the interested issue, but also used to emphasize the importance of the topic by providing an evidence (Ridley, 2012). Thus, critical analysis on previous studies is needed in order to provide a profound knowledge of the field.
There are four steps in the scientific methods. First of all, an observation and description of a phenomenon. The observation is made visually and aided by apparatus. Secondly is making a hypothesis in order to predict what the result that we will earn is. Thirdly, test the hypothesis by experimenting, predicting and observation of the new phenomena that follow from the hypothesis. If the experiment is failed, then the hypothesis is rejected. Thus, the hypothesis must be rejected or be modified. Meanwhile, if the hypothesis is accepted, a theory based on the repeate...
1. Leadership is influence, how would you influence others as a leader? I would influence others firstly, by setting an example myself. Being an example of hard work and confidence will influence others in their work. I’m also willing to help anyone with their work which will be buying first within our chapter.
Now within the rest of this paper you will be finding a few different things getting discussed. Staring it off we will be discussing the articles that we have found to make our arguments and hypotheses. After wrapping up the literature reviews we will be discussing the hypotheses thus continuing onto our variables and indicators. Once we discuss our hypotheses we will be moving onto the research design. The research design will have our general issues, sampling, and methods.
The process of completeing my research task taught me many valuable lessons. In compiling the literature review I learnt how to filter information, as well as how to use citations. The method and results section showed me how to transfer information from labels into suitable graphs and tables, in order to make comparisons and analysises. I learnt how to critically examine graphs and tables, and draw accurate and educated conclusions when completing the discussion section. Through this project, I also realised the importance of reflecting back on any limitations encountered inorder to learn from your mistakes, and find improvements for further research. In addition, I learnt how to reference sources correctly.
