2. Why should you be elected to serve as an officer over the others?
I should be elected over the others because I have the work effort, determination, and leadership skills that the Edgewood DECA chapter needs to be successful in the 2018-2019 year. In the past two years, I have worked hard to help the 2017-2018 officers

Knowledge is the foundation of people thoughts and actions. This foundation is needed to create a path to success and achievement. Having wisdom in life will demonstrate that you have the abilities and morals to achieve greatness not only in your career but your personal life as well. I value wisdom the most because it is the building blocks to prosperity.
4. Do you consider yourself successful?
I believe that I'm on the path to be successful with small-scale success on the way to a bigger success. Success to me means a stable outcome. I have had small successes on my path to a full-blown success. I believe that I will be successful as time goes as because of my work efforts and confidence in my ability to be successful.
5. If you were asked what DECA means to you, how would you respond
I would say that DECA means leadership, unity, and confidence. DECA means leadership because everyone has to take their own role in an event. Whether or not it’s a school-based event or a competition for a conference you will take on a leadership role to achieve the goal you are working towards. DECA is unity because every person in the DECA chapter come together to help not only the chapter members but the school. When competing everyone is united and helps everyone else better themselves and prepare for what’s to come. DECA also means confidence because DECA events provide real life experiences to learn what is needed to learn to succeed out of a school environment. DECA provides a feeling of confidence to everyone who is
According to Muller, Prowse, and Soper (2012) the procedures to remove and replace a power supply are;
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
One of the main reasons this research was conducted was to understand how multitasking on your computer during class affects the student and his/her peers around them. This research is very topical, considering that technology is becoming extremely prevalent in our everyday tasks. The results of this study provided that multitasking does have consequences on the student and their peers (Sana. F., Weston, T., & Cepeda, N. J., 2013). To begin with, the study proved that learning and understanding declined when multitasking was introduced (Sana, et. al., 2013). Another thing Sana, Weston, and Cepeda (2013) found was that comprehending the material presented during lecture was also disrupted when students were sitting near another student who was multitasking.
This critical review will look at the skill of administering antipsychotic depot intramuscular injections. This skill was practised while I was on my psychiatric placement in a community setting. The setting will not be named for confidentiality reasons as set out by An Bord Altranais. According to An Bord Altranais (2008), under no circumstances may a student nurse disclose a health care facility’s identity in an assignment. Clinics were run twice a week in this particular community setting for patients with mental health problems such as schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder to receive their depot intramuscular injections. This skill was chosen as the author was practising administering intramuscular injections almost on a daily basis but there is confusion around what is the best practice for administering depot intramuscular injections in the mental health setting.
America has evolved over the centuries, from a British colony to an international powerhouse. At one point, the U.S was considered the greatest country in the world. America always found solutions to problems, and tried to help make peace throughout the world, but now that is up to debate. Why? The answer is simple, the government. The dishonesty and bad decisions have resulted in America’s title as a superpower to waver. The government is a growing problem that may lead to the demise of America by negatively affecting political, social, and economic issues in the country.
The ten videos I watched were: Coronoa “Shoes”, Coors Light with Ice Cube, Captain Morgan, Bud Light “Swear Jar”, Bud Light “Clothing Drive”, Budweiser “Puppy Love”, Budweiser “Clydesdale Donkey”, Smirnoff with Pharrell Williams, Jose Cuervo Silver, and Patron Silver. Most of the focuses on minors were pretty obvious, but a few were hard to recognize. Ten out of the ten ads could target those under 21.
In order for a leader to be a leader he/she must begin with the assumption that you are the one who matters most. As a leader you have to possess that level of confidence in yourself that you are capable of leading yourself “before you can lead others”. And when you develop this belief then you are better able of affirmative influence “on others”.
Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”

Richard Englander Assignment 3 1. Reviewing research literature provides opportunities to evaluate and analyze prior work. By reviewing prior work, we are able to be more specific in any new research, reframe the concept approach from a different perspective, design and implement different methods, note the strengths and weaknesses of the research, and compare it to other research done by others. 2. Upon review of other research, the researcher will be able to identify areas that need adjustment in their initial hypothesis.
For a majority of people, their earliest childhood memory is nothing more than a fragment of something that happened when they were three to four years old. This fragment in some way, shape, or form must have been important in some way if it was the one memory remembered out of the countless number hidden away in the deep trenches of the mind. My mind seems to have chosen the fragment of a memory from when I was about three or four, yet, I cannot absolutely guarantee if this is correct. I may have been a year or two older or perhaps even a year younger. In fact, I have a number of memories from my adolescence that according to my parents and those who were close to me at the time I remembered incorrectly. These memories felt so authentic and substantial it was difficult for me to recognize that they were not necessarily true. Despite this, I have come to realize that I do have one memory that I know is true, that is backed up by film, eyewitness accounts, and record keeping. This memory, as fragmented as it might be is a story fit for the ages. It portrays images of hard work, of glory, of cunning adaptability and of victory.
Leadership is defined as a process by which an individual influences others to obtain goals. There are three aspects that should be addressed when explaining leadership. One aspect is that leadership is a social influence process; leadership could not exist without a leader and one or more followers. Another leadership aspect is compliance; all of the leader’s directions must be complied with voluntarily. Compliance is what separates leadership from other influence-based formal authority. Finally, leadership results in the followers’ behavior, that is purposeful and goal-directed which must be in some organized setting (Leadership Theories and Studies, 2009).
Leadership is trait that is extremely important in any society. Leadership is known as the way people attempting to make a difference in a situation. However, I believe that it is better said to be a way of influencing others actions. Leadership is usually connected to a great leader that affected his or her followers in a dynamic way. Throughout the semester for my leadership class, I have expanded the knowledge in numerous ways. I now have fully understanding of the purpose and process of leadership to a society. Being a leader one must maintain an image of being the role model. I believe that this is leader should be who is someone who has the ability to influence, encourage, listen, and nurture. They are able to inspire, stimulate, persuade, shape, and have an effect on others.
Wisdom, however, is not as easily obtained as knowledge. Wisdom is the ability of the mind to scrutinize knowledge. Wisdom is what scholars, thinkers, and philosophers possess. When an individual can question and examine aspects of himself and his world, and in turn develop answers, then he is exhibiting wisdom. Wisdom is far more intuitive and exclusive than knowledge. Where knowledge is about volume, wisdom is about value. Knowledge is merely what we know, wisdom is knowing why and how we know; more importantly, what we can do with it.
Success takes many different definitions. People have different interpretations of what success really means. For me is as simple as: living well and laughing often. The idea of living well is a very broad statement. Living well, in my opinion is getting success in personal, social and professional life. If I can achieve all of these three levels of success, I believe that I have lived well.
