Arnold Schwarzenegger had many life changing experiences and decisions that has shaped the course of his life. He was born in Austria and grew up in a small village near Thal. His dad was a police officer and people thought he would follow the same path or work on a farm. He didn’t like either of these options. He had a different vision for himself. One day he watched a documentary about America and it made him want to come to America. A bodybuilding magazine gave him the idea about what he wanted to do and that this would be the journey to America. As he read about the Mr. Universe in the magazine he could visualize doing this in his life. Nothing mattered because he knew his plan and he knew where he is going. This relates to his first rule that he uses in his everyday life: “Find your vision and follow it.” Learning about Arnold’s life has taught me many valuable lessons, such as knowing my goal and sticking to it. There were many challenges that he had to face, when he decided to become a bodybuilder at the age of fourteen, he had to push himself very hard.
