My favorite constellation is the Aries constellation. This is because, Aries is my Zodiac sign. The Aries constellation is known to be the ram, but this is not true for all cultures. For example, Chinese people think of it as twin inspectors. Also, in the Marshall Islands, the Aries sign is considered to be a porpoise to them. Thee Aries constellation is a mid-size constellation that can be seen from the Northern Hemisphere.
The mythology of Aries the Ram is sometimes confused with the other belief of mythology, Ares the God of War. Ares was a person other than a ram. Ares was known for his lust for blood, his chaotic nature, and his thoughtless aggression. On the other hand, Aries the Ram was of course, a constellation made up of stars that

the Greeks thought to look like the head of a ram. The mythology of Aries the Ram comes from the story called Thessaly. So do not get confused between Ares, the God of War and Aries, the Ram. Annie was a 19 year old girl.
Her mother, Corina had ideas for her daughter. Her plans were to get her to marry a young boy named Julius although Julius was anything other than happy about this. He had despised Annie since they were little kids and she stole his golden apple from him when he wasn't looking. But Julius and Annie's parents had always thought they would be the best couple in the land of Cryptonionas. So one day, Julius's father, Melanion had set up the perfect marriage ceremony and waited for Annie and Corina to arrive at the ceremony. Julius was 100% against his father's thoughts and decided that right before the ceremony was to start, he would go to the Underworld to be safe from his father making her wed. Once Annie left home with her mother for the ceremony, she got an idea, she would run away before they could get married. So when her and Corina had only a minute or two left of walking, she started running at full speed in the other direction. Corina immediately stormed off to Melanion and told him what had happened and JUlius figured it would be the perfect time to slip away from the ceremony. So he ran and ran and he ran some more until he ran into a beautiful young women, Annie. "Ouch! Watch were your going!" She screamed at Julius. "A-Annie?" said Julius back to her. "Wait, Julius? Where are you going?" said Annie. "Well I was going to run away to the Underworld, I'm not ready to be married. Although, you are quite beautiful nowadays." he said
blushing. "Your not too shabby yourself Julius. Mind if I tag along? You know, to the Underworld?" said Annie. "Of course! Of course, let's go." Years had passed and now Julius and Annie were happily married in the Underworld without their parents to interrupt. One day in the Underworld, a scorpion names Scorpius appeared suddenly in the Underworld, and killed Julius and Annie sending them up into the sky, forming constellations. Many years passed and Chinese came along, they thought that maybe they were twin brother and sister, therefore they became the constellation twins, forming the name of, Aries.

Heroes are known to do many things, and to have many great characteristics. From selflessness to courage, all heroes have a wide variety of amazing characteristics, that make them great. Selflessness and bravery are just two of the many characteristics that modern day heroes, and Greek gods have in common. Chris Kyle is a modern-day war hero, who demonstrates both of these characteristics throughout his life. Chris Kyle is the deadliest sniper in American history; He serves in the navy as a seal, and he has at least one hundred sixty confirmed kills according to the pentagon’s count. In Greek mythology, Ares is a Greek god who demonstrates similar characteristics that Chris Kyle has. He is the god of war, and he demonstrates selflessness and bravery in many different Greek myths. In Greek mythology, Ares is known for his selflessness and bravery. Similarly, modern-day hero, Chris Kyle is also known for his selflessness and bravery. Although these two characters are so different, they have many characteristics in common.
Ares, also known as Mars, was the god of war. He symbolizes strength and brute force in a war. He is the opposite of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and military strategy. Ares was the son of Zeus and Hera, he was one of the 12 Olympians. (Philips 1)
The constellation I have chosen is Ursa Major, specifically the Big Dipper within it. Ironically, Ursa Major is my favorite because of one of its many creation stories. Ursa Major is also known as the Great Bear, and lies in the northern hemisphere. It was one of the 88 constellations first recognized by the International Astronomical Union. It is also the third largest constellation in the sky. I recognize that the Big Dipper is not a constellation, this creation story is too good to pass up sharing. I love sharing it whenever I am camping with friends and the sky is clear enough to see it. This story is of Native American orgiin.

As time passed, she eventually was given small bursts of freedom and allowed outside for short increments of time. She began to look forward to this personal time, not considering running away. During the middle of the story, Annie became pregnant. During one of her increments of outside freedom one day, she went into labor. The house had a sense of wellness and almost normalcy as Annie did her best to care for the infant.
...ly Ares should not be considered anything but a loser because he cannot win any battles, he is a trouble-maker, and he has too much blind rage.
I have chosen to write about the constellation Cancer (The Crab). I chose Cancer because it is one of only a handful of constellations that I am actually able to identify in the night sky. Cancer is one of the twelve Zodiac constellations; people whose birthdays fall between June 21st and July 22nd have Cancer as their sign. Cancer is the Latin word for crab, and despite the fact that the constellation looks more like a lobster then a crab, it is still referred to as a crab. The constellation is visible from the northern hemisphere from late winter to early spring.
Athena was one of the twelve gods in Greek mythology that lived on Mount Olympus. She was the daughter of Zeus the ruler of all the gods and the god of the sky. Athena had many titles is Greek mythology but her two most influential were the goddess of war and the goddess of wisdom. Some of the stories that will be discussed in this paper have multiple versions to them depending on who is telling them or what culture is telling them.
Ares among the Greeks peoples was least favored because of his brutal nature. He was filled
