Arguments Against Drones

Everybody calm down. Drones are not the enemy, drones are unmanned aerial vehicles which are used in warfare as well as in aiding and delivering services. Drones should be used in warfare, although it may seem as if drones are monsters who hang over the heads of those believed to be people who are targeted for no reason, other than their affiliation or race, they are simply used to monitor what is believed to be a threat to national security. So by defining the importance of this issue one can asses why drones are not monsters, and by presenting a sound argument and refuting those who believe otherwise, one may be persuaded to support the use of drones in warfare. Such as the fact that the President employed ¨signature strikes¨ meaning that if someone is suspected of associations with terrorists, regardless if they have been conclusively proven to be or not, they have the right to target them. One could also say that drones are clearly a violation of the fourth amendment which states one must have ¨probable cause¨ (Source A) but drones are also protected under the international law which states that they if a person is a direct threat, that is probable cause enough. Countless people are hesitant of drones because they feel they are being tracked, but that is not the military's purpose, if a person is being tracked there's usually a valid reason why, thus the reason the government has persons of interest. Lastly one could say that drones can cause an uprising of radicalism and anti-americanism, although people can not blame America for problems they did not create, and it is unfair is to incriminate America as the terrorists when all they did was try to
