This setting is in a haunted house in Idaho. Paige experiences some supernatural existences. She heard noises coming from her brother Logan's room but she didn't mention it to her mom or Logan because she didn't think it was that big of a deal. Then she started telling her mom, but her mom thought she was sick of thinking about all of this. Her mom took her to see a therapist. Paige knew that something was going on in her house, she knew that there was something wrong going on in there. She was too afraid to say that and it backfired on her. If she would of spoke up, her family could have solved this problem before it got out of control.
Stemmed from an innate affection for Liam, courage, boldness, and strong willpower are characteristics that Gabriella catalyzes; these reactants ultimately fuel the products in the form of sacrifices---to time, to life, and to true emotions. The short story starts with Gabriella frantically rushing to enter into the Jasper hospital, almost “[losing[ her footing” on the hospital steps. Persuaded by the slight possibility of visiting Liam, she proceeds to visit Liam “everyday for the last three weeks.” Moreover, upon “Liam’s insistence,” Gabriella is willing to prepare a cleaning solution that took “twice as long to remove grime as the concentrate she bought at the janitorial supply store. The amount of time and effort that Gabriella commits to her relationship---even to the simplest of chores---is immense. Not only is Gabriella willing to waste her time on trivial chores at the desire of Liam, but she also is willing to put her own life at stake for the benefit of Liam. During the encounter with a grizzly bear, although the act of making sounds may have put her own life in peril, Gabriella remains calm, using all of her willpower to speak out instructions to Liam---to “[back] off slowly” and “bluff” the bear. Additionally, Gabriella desires to suppress her true feelings about LIam’s condition, forcing a “bluff” smile on her face,
Yet, the other Wes Moore had come across his mother's weed stash one day while looking for some change in her room. To me this is just unacceptable, Mary is held responsible for becoming a role model to her children. She should be showing her kids how drugs are bad, not be using them. The other Wes Moore came home drunk one afternoon after a day full of adventure with his friends, who had been smoking pot and drinking alcohol. As soon as Wes entered the house, Mary's boyfriend at the time noticed something was up.

On an ordinary day, Leslie opens the main door of her house, when she walked inside she saw her mom and sister Islla sitting on the coach. Islla was crying, and Leslie ask her “What happened?’ Why you crying?’”. Islla told her that she is pregnant and that she wants to keep the baby even if her boyfriend will be against the baby, but she will need to drop out from her University. In a few minutes of thinking, Leslie decided and told her sister “You don’t need to drop out I will help you to babysit with my nephew.”
She works very hard to create a “normal” environment for the family. Frank and Monica neglected to model proper parenting skills, therefore, Fiona’s parenting skills are very limited. The boundaries within the family system are so loose that they are almost nonexistent. There are times when Fiona shares alcoholic beverages with her underaged siblings. The children are frequently exposed to illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. There is no structure for Liam, he is often up late at night with the older family members. Liam is often left on the couch in front of the television. He is normally watching something violent or adult. There are no age-appropriate activities for him. Debbie and Carl come and go as they please. They do not have a curfew and no one questions their whereabouts. At this stage in their development, Debbie and Carl need structure and rules. They should have limited autonomy and some set boundaries. The lack of boundaries leaves the teens vulnerable to unhealthy situations. This may have lead to Debbie’s unplanned pregnancy and Carl’s
Pignati's kids, they had to be extra careful that their actual parents didn’t hear what happened or they would have both been in a lot of trouble. They made the decision that they were still going to go to his house every day after school to clean it up and make sure no one broke in since they thought they were the reason he was in the hospital. One day while they were at Mr. Pignati's house they decided that they were going to clean everything up. To begin with, Lorraine asked John to take the trash out or do the dishes while she cleaned everything else but he was acting infantile and wouldn’t do any cleaning. After a little bit of cleaning Lorraine made dinner for John and herself when John came up with the fantastic idea of having a party with a bunch of friends at Mr. Pignati's house. That night when they invited all of their friends, they had a bunch of tiny hors d’oeuvres and alcohol for all of the kids. All of the smells mixed together made the house smell very putrid that night. The only problem was that the night didn’t go exactly as planned. People who weren’t suppose to show up, showed up, pigs from the pig collection were being broken, Conchetta's dresses were being tried on and ripped by the girls, people were rolling around the house with roller skates, most importantly, Mr. Pignati came home from the hospital early with the house in the state that they left it. That night, the police
Her eyes were heavy, her body weak. As she crawled into the bathroom two feet away, Abby felt her body slowly succumbing to the numbness. All of her pain would be gone in less than 10 minutes, so why would she want to turn back? What about the senior trip Abby had planned with her best friend? What about the chair at the dinner table that would now be vacant? A couple of hours later Abby’s family came home from her little sister’s soccer game. Little did they know what they would find as they approached the top of the stairs. Her little sister, Ali, stood still as she looked down at her feet. There on the cold floor lay her big sister, her role model, and her super hero. Ali was crushed when she saw the pill bottle in her hand and the pale color of her skin. Her mom fell to her knees screaming and crying, wondering where she

People should stop arguing about the use of marijuana and how marijuana is bad, because people only like to research the cons instead of including the pros. Despite the fact that people believe everything they hear, they should look up more and try to see how good marijuana can be for them. Marijuana is good for their health, and it has helped to cure people who are very ill. Marijuana is less harmful than tobacco or alcohol, there has been studies proven that people have died over drinking other than by smoking marijuana. Marijuana will be able to have less people prosecuted for the possession of carrying it around, which will help people not get arrested for a small amount of marijuana.
Medical Marijuana: Why or Why not? Marijuana was first introduced by the Chinese back in the B.C (before Christ) time period where it existed as a substance that carried the ability to achieve euphoria or a “high” as we refer to it today. In the early 4200s B.C. Marijuana was better known for its medicinal value where it was being used to treat rheumatism, gout and malaria (Narcocon International). Of course, society at the time was aware of the other effects marijuana had, however at the time, they primarily focused on the medication capacity marijuana contained. Fast forward to 2015, where the medical use of marijuana is the biggest controversial topic, where society views marijuana more of a harmful substance than a solution to nearly all of the medical conditions people encounter.
When many people think of using marijuana, the image of Woodstock, “Cheech and Chong” or Willy Nelson immediately pops into their heads, but marijuana isn’t just used to have a good time. Marijuana has generally been used recreationally. In recent years, however, research has found new ways to implement its effects. Marijuana has the ability to help bring comfort to patiens who have nausea and appetite loss, chronic pain, and mental disorders. I believe that marijuana should be legalized, not for recreation, but for the betterment of the lives of people suffering from illnesses throughout the United States.
Marijuana can help people. It can help cure illness, and at the very least can be vital in alleviating suffering, as it has for those like young Charlotte Figi, whose constant, life threatening seizures were
One day, Nancy saw her parents crying and she had never seen them cry before. They dropped Linh and her off at one of their friend’s houses. Marijuana continues to be one of the most used illegal drugs in the United States. Marijuana has been used for many years and at one time was legal to consume. Throughout the years, marijuana has been used for treatment of different medical conditions and has been used recreationally by people of all ages. While the use of medicinal marijuana has proven to be effective in treating medically ill patients, society continues to question its recreational use and the long term effects it will have on its users. Some feel that legalizing marijuana will only open up avenues for the use of more potent drugs, causing an increase in criminal activity. However, a number of people question why it is considered illegal being it is a naturally growing
