Space is a place that everybody don’t know. Many scientists spend their whole life to search the space because of human curiosity. Like the NASA they spend money to do research space and find another planet for more people survive and new resources for future generations to utilize. In my opinion space exploration is worth the money. First of all space is a whole new place that everybody don’t know. Second, the earth already ran out of resources. People are cutting trees and catching fish all the time. The growing global population also is a big problem. Many materials will run out in the next ten years and space exploration will be the biggest hope for us to continue to be alive. No matter how much money we spend I think space exploration
Space exploration needs advancing scientific research, more machineries and equipments which means that it would cost us a lot of
In making decisions concerning space exploration, there are many issues and planning that need to be addressed. Space exploration is a serious thing and there needs to be a thorough thinking process on what is going to occur and backup plans in case anything happens. Leaving earth requires a good amount of work and expense, but in today's time we need to start thinking about these issues since on earth we are having serious problems such as the disappearance of the rainforest, the pollution of the oceans, an increase in desertification in some areas, and major climate changes. Now space exploration is a necessity.
As a country we need to start investing more money and research into space technology. Programs currently exist for this effort, but the potential for research and progress is limited by a lack of funding; compared to other government funded programs, aerospace funding is pitiful. Continued research in space technology is a necessary step in our growth and development not just as a country but also as entire human race. If we are to achieve this goal, it is necessary to increase funding for space research and technology and consider the possibility of colonizing outer space. If we limit our existence to the planet Earth, and continue to drain the resources on this planet, we will destroy the only home we have.
This topic is important because this is our future. This is the nations money, should we be willing to spend this money for knowledge or should we be using this for issues here on Earth? We explore or we do not explore. We send live beings to space or robots. The Space, Policy, and Society Research Group Massachusetts Institute of Technology stresses the importance of space flight when they say “The recent Bush vision gives a representative set; search for habitable worlds away from Earth, possibly leading to the discovery of present or past life on other planets, develop a new technology; inspire children to study and seek careers in science, technology, engineering, and math; and symbolize American democracy to the world.” The essence of what they are saying is space flight is important to us as a nation because it aids in discovery, the inventing of new technology, and it inspires children.
Being able to send people up into space was an extraordinary influential event for mankind. It told us that there were whole new worlds and concepts out there ready to be explored. The fundamentals of the solar system led us to discover more about the gravitational pull of the sun and other planets, which has helped aid us in launching probes and even setting the course for the International Space Station. Fundamentals like microbial life on Mars and the exotic environments of planets and moons have driven space exploration to a whole new level. In addition, due to space telescopes, we have learned new things that we had never heard nor seen about. The things that we have seen in space like supernovas, the creation of stars, and things like black holes have driven us farther and farther into space. In conclusion, as long as man has curiosity, there will be no end to what we will uncover in space. For this reason, this is why the Space Race was so important. It kicked started a chain of events that will have mankind exploring more of
To understand and appreciate why space exploration should be continued, its achievements must be revealed. The science behind space exploration impacts so much more than one might have originally assumed. According to Kristen Kumar, “Important technology areas that have been impacted by space exploration research include; human health, space power and energy storage, life support and communication and navigation” (Kumar, 2011, p. 195). All of the things listed above have been the focus of the space program, and the results produced have been significant technological advances. Some of the most beneficial innovations have been a direct result of space exploration research, enhancing human life, society and the economy. The importance of Space Exploration has been often overlooked and undermined, but that does not change what it has done for the wo...
If we stopped funding the space program imagine the hundreds of scientific discoveries and technological advances we would lose and in doing so our children wouldn't be able to experience what we felt when man first stepped on the moon. this will cut us off from finding new life or even relocating to a different planet. Imagine in 30 years when the earth is depleted of all its major resources and is nothing more than a barren wasteland what will we do then? Space program funding should be increased because of the human's need for exploration, greater technological advances and how it could improve the lives of people on
We explore space to compare other planets with the earth and to study the sun, to explore the universe while finding out if intelligent life exists, for satellites to improve communications, weather forecasting, navigation, resource monitoring, and “to create a focal point for a new intellectual renaissance” (Ruzic). When considering space exploration, one can look at Columbus. If Columbus had never set out to find a better trade route but instead found the new world, the economy in Europe would have declined to the point where another country would have sent explorers out and that country would have discovered the new world.... ...
Not only that, but our population has been growing at an extremely alarming rate. At our current rate, our species may not be able to survive for much longer. This is where space exploration comes in. With the recent discovery of water on Mars, and the finding of Kepler-78b, it is possible that mankind can prolong our existence. The possibility of interstellar travel seems to be an option, or even a necessity, if we wish to continue living.
... resources. Once the ethical, diplomatic, and economic issues have been settled, then space exploration should be considered. It can expand human civilization, but it is not a necessity and can even be detrimental.
Mankind has always been fascinated with exploring the unknown. From sailing to distant lands to someday setting foot on other planets, the spirit of exploration is the same. Bur now with the current economic situation and the high cost of sending people to space, NASA is being looked at as a way to free up some much needed funds. Although, there is many problems here on planet Earth that need addressing, the benefits of space exploration far out weight the disadvantages. Space exploration has given us more advanced technology, advances in the medical field, and a boost to the economy and these facts cannot be disputed.
Should Money be spent on Space Exploration? National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) has made remarkable progress in understanding the unknown and increasing our pre-existing knowledge about space. NASA has discovered a number of planets within and out of our galaxy NASA has also made many theories towards understanding our place within the Universe and with their main focus being the betterment of humanity in general and they do this through creating new inventions for space travel that when watered down help the development of planes. NASA has made leaps and bounds in creating inventions for the betterment of humanity. NASA should get more funding because with their knowledge they will be able to continue to make inventions benefit humanity.
The 1960's brought new advancements for all of Earth. Machines and men were sent into space, and this sparked a new government agency, called NASA. Space was a new frontier, and virtually everyone was interested in exploring it. Over the years, the interest in space exploration has weakened, and NASA was almost terminated from existence, although there have been many advancements in it over that time. Space exploration should continue because it could help solve many problems on Earth, such as overpopulation and lack of resources. Exploration of the final frontier must continue in order for human life to continue.
Space exploration can lead to the possibility to find useful resources throughout the galaxy for human gain. Many severe problems on earth could be solved through space exploration such as world hunger, overpopulation, and dwindling fuel sources. Things such as fuel could be harvested from planets for power generation and propulsion technology, and land to cultivate for growing food, as well as land for building living areas for the growing population. These potential resources...
Space exploration is very beneficial to humankind because it creates new technologies, it brings different countries together, and gives people a better understanding of our Earth.
