Earth, a planet with many issues, issues that cannot all be solved. This planet is heavily polluted and the only way to survive is if we either live a advanced life style with new technology that can support life or we find another planet that can sustain life. People say it’s a waste to fund money in space exploration because we don't know what's out there, isn't that why we explore space? People say that our technology is limited, wouldn’t our technology advance if we continue to fund space activities?

People believe that we invest too much in space exploration. However, the funding helps create more job opportunities for people in the field of science and technology which helps them support their family and fight against the problem of unemployment. The government has committed up to $379 million over the next 8 years starting in 2017 to meet Canada's commitment to its international partners in support of the International Space Station until 2024.
