Argumentative Essay: Should College Students Drop-Out College

Thousands of dollars for college tuition; thousands of dollars for textbooks and materials, the cost just keeps building up! Students going through high school right now do not have the experience of having to actually pay for school. Often enough, colleges and universities require students to pay hefty prices to attend their schools and leads the hole in our pockets to become deeper and deeper. To change this problem, public colleges and universities should not require tuitions and school materials to be fiscal problems for students. With this, students would not worry about not going to college just because they could not afford it.

Colleges have become extremely expensive to the point where students drop-out or are unable to attend because of financial issues. With no more money issues, students can focus solely on the schoolwork without the idea of paying back excessive fees back in the future. They would become more focused in their studies with the idea that they will not be broke graduating from college. Although others argue that money fees create an incentive for students to work for their money, it leaves many unfortunate ones with the inability to attend any schools. By having no more tuition and material fees, students

will finally have the chance to attend a college not based on financials, but on wits and academic performance.
The amount of debt accumulated over the years for college students are paid back as late as decades after they have graduated.

That is why students drop-out of college, by worrying about the amount of money they may have to owe if they were to continue their education. This is inefficient due to the fact that it may hinder gifted individuals from receiving their schooling and in turn, not be able to benefit our society. However if they were to receive their information, their will be able to contribute their intellect make our community strive further. This will also make it to where financially unfortunate students have a straight-forward goal to go to college instead of worrying about whether or not they will be able to afford

it.
Another reason why colleges and universities should not require students to pay for tuition and school materials is because schools are suppose to be government funded programs, where students have the right to an education. Students should never have to debate whether or not they should drop-out of school because the government should do everything in their power to see that every student gets the education they deserve. The government are the ones who fund colleges and universities so it makes no sense that with the money schools are getting, that students are not being able to pay for their tuition and school supplies. Large grants are given to schools to further a student’s education and by having students try to pay off tuitions that they can not afford, would only limit them.
Many people might disagree and say that tuitions pay off the programs offered at a school, but given that colleges are already wealthy, this does not seem to be the issue. By having no more tuitions would lead to a more advanced society and a chance for all students to have an equal opportunity for education. Tuitions have become more and more expensive over the years and have become such large amounts that students can not see themselves ever paying off the debts they have gathered. Every student just wants to go to school without paying a penny. No tuitions make students more motivated to go to college and will help our community grow into a brighter future.
