Paying for your education throughout all of the years of your life shows you truly care about learning and doing something big with your life. Nearly 40 percent of working americans hold a college degree, yet 65.5 percent of students enrolled in college. Therefore only 25.5 percent of americans actually ended up getting a college degree and worked in what they studied. In all, 65.5 percent of the people who went to college who expected to learn and get something out of it, paid thousands of dollars, who are more than likely now in debt because of paying for college. Studies show that a higher tuition may translate into a higher salary. Most americans choose the most affordable school ahead of the more expensive. College isn’t all about being able to say you went to college. The important part about attending college is maintaining a steady GPA, your experience you had while off at college, and your course of study. While at college you’re schooling can cost a lot of money which also includes food, books, and maybe even clothing you’d like to wear around campus. In my personal opinion, I don’t think students should have to pay for schooling if you or your parents don’t have a good yearly income. Many students parents do not have a good yearly income but still continue to sacrifice for their child to be able to attend college and put money towards tuition. I believe that the person in charge of handling tuition money should check to see what that person’s yearly income each year is and determine it based off of that. If they see that family may have financial issues, they should be offered any type of scholarships they can get, get discounts applied to their tuition, and maybe they could even do work around campus to pay off, which is common in many schools around the United
