These kinds of individuals, who are glued to technology, lose the opportunity for face-to-face interactions that will help them obtain better communication skills. Social media will start to take over the lives of individuals who allow these unhealthy habits to form. These are individuals who are truly losing sight of what is really important in life.
It is difficult for certain individuals to adjust to the changes of the world, as it is constantly changing. If you watch a big crowd of people, you are more likely to see that the majority of them are using technology to surf the web, send off a text and/or email, or update their statuses on a social network site, instead of interacting with the people surrounding them.
