Introduction Health care policies are decisions made by the government which can affect affordability, accessibility and the quality of healthcare provided to citizens residing in the United States. Health care policies can regulate, allocate or come from other social policies to manage the overall health of a population. Health Policy A “distributive policy spread benefits throughout society and includes funding and of medical research and the development of medical personnel” (Shi, 2015, p. 511). I voted for Paul Ryan in my district, he is from the first congressional district in Wisconsin and is currently the house speaker. Mark Pocan is from a different voting district, the second congressional district, but he is representative who introduced the bill I am proposing to amend.
