DEADRISE is a classic action-thriller with a potential franchise hero. The goal for the hero is well-defined and the stakes are life and death. The story also nicely explores the themes of revenge, redemption, and second chances.
The plotline offers well-crafted action and a hero that the audience roots for. Most of the all, the plot offers various twists and turns that the audience doesn’t see coming.
Action films that are not new to the industry, but they are considered tried and true as demonstrated by the success of such franchise films like DIE HARD, JAMES BOND, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, and THE BOURNE IDENTITY, as well as others.
The trick is to create an original hook to entice the audience. The script attempts to do this with the events taking place on a small island and with some original action, but it would benefit the script to try and create a stronger hook.
Thus, while there’s a lot to like about the storyline, at the same time, there’s room for possible revisions, especially in the first act. The areas to discuss include the structure, the pace, and some story choices, as well as further character development.

To sum up, "Turtle Island" features characters who struggle in the cultural; it included gangs, drugs, and violence. The narrator who was only 11 years old was a rebellious and impulsive person who was against cultural belief. He was just a little boy and considered questions that depended on his own opinion, so he could not think like an adult. The mind can easy to change depend on his thought. In the end, of the story, he had chosen to become a person who was brave, powerful and
In conclusion, Simon’s lifetime on the island has taught the boys that a humane nature is important when trying to deal with others. His personality and relations with the other characters lead them to be strong for a great amount of time before it starts to die off and they lose their innocence with all the evil nature on the island. As the plot develops, everyone becomes savages and forget who they originally were and how to act like they did when there were parents around. A majority of the problem could have come to an end if all the characters could support each other and have a state of mind of what was going on around them. Simon led a meaningful life and is an example of peace and good nature throughout the novel.
In the beginning of the book it states, “He wasn’t like them” by the use of short phases such as this, sets the pessimistic mood of the story that is reinforced by the illustrations. By placing such a line in the beginning of the book sets the theme of the story that the stranger does not belong on the island. The crispness of this phrase works to have a larger impact on the audience that initiates their sympathy for the man rather than the islanders. This connects to our today’s society due to, if you are different from everyone else in our society, either in looks, weight, mind set or even personality wise it is immediately picked up on and stated. In today’s society, just like the strange man in ‘The Island’ we are too isolated and excluded due to our differences. The people who are different are pushed to the side and locked away, just like when the man in ‘The Island’ was placed into the goat pen to never be dealt or heard of
They believe what contributed to the film’s success was Ben’s “black-rage”. He was a harsh hero, even shooting one of the other characters who was defenseless. Although Ben played the protagonist, he still wouldn’t be described as a hero. All he wanted to do was survive and everyone looked to him to be the leader, so he had to reluctantly take the role. Ben and Barbara being alone in the farmhouse caused some attention.
Although I liked the flow of action in this novel, a large number of superfluous characters are introduced in the first part of the book that never get fully fleshed out. Some of the characters more integral to the story also seemed a little shallow in their presentation.
First impression of the play when I first walked in was one of confusion. The stage design was not distinguishable. I could not tell what was going on or what it was supposed to be. One thing I could
The message the poet is portraying is that island man is representing her and that this is how she feels. She is also saying that she will never forget about her culture. In my opinion the main character likes his old life because it’s more adventurous and the feeling of never being alone is relaxing. He might be use to the struggle in his hometown that he finds it boring that he can get things to easily in this country. My beliefs are that the message the poet is portraying is that life may be more adventurous in your homeland but there is a better quality of life in London. The lifestyle you choose has to be the lifestyle you need even if you find it dreary.
When the children become stranded on the island, the rules of society no longer apply to them. Without the supervision of their parents or of the law, the primitive nature of the boys surfaces, and their lives begin to fall apart. The downfall starts with their refusal to gather things for survival. The initial reaction of the boys is to swim, run, jump, and play. They do not wish to build shelters, gather food, or keep a signal fire going. Consequently, the boys live without luxury that could have been obtained had they maintained a society on the island. Instead, these young boys take advantage of their freedom and life as they knew it deteriorates.
The theme of deception runs very strong in Act One. Almost all the characters seem to either be deceiving someone, or being deceived themselves.
the play was good. The first act was a little slow and tedious but the

He has been able to provide food and a home for himself since he was left alone. He is also a man of faith.
Willy creates Ben in his mind because it gives him hope for not only himself, but also his sons. By creating Ben as a figure of his imagination, Willy has a false sense of security of thinking things can still change and life can be good.
Ben is a figment of Willy's imagination who represents his idealistic view of prosperity. Ben is symbolic of the success of the American Dream. "when I was seventeen I walked into the jungle and when I was twenty-one I walked out. And by God I was rich"(48). Ben earned his affluence without the help of an education or job. Willy is continuously misled with delusion illusions of grandeur by Ben. "What are you building? Lay your hand on it. Where is it?"(86). Ben questions the success of Willy's sales job and states that in order to be prosperous, one must physically touch it. Ben represents the success of the American Dream and functions in order to make Willy doubt the actions of hard work.
