Even though when we talk about “aliens” we don't always mean the little green people popularized in movies and stories, They could also be tiny cells or organisms, but in this case, we are talking about intelligent alien life. Critics will often argue that these ancient civilizations just drew random things built everything on their own. Admittedly it is true some of them did.
