Tall, skinny, blue men walking around at night. Lurking, making terrifying shadows for only some to see. Or, creatures that look absolutely normal and human, hiding secrets within. Their eyes sharp and big. These are just some descriptions of the extraterrestrial, out of many. Do you think you’ve seen an alien? Have you seen an object in the sky and did not know what it was? For some people, this is true. There has been over forty three percent of alien encounters in the US, alone. They have either been a witness of a sighting or an unlucky victim of abductions. Most humans don’t even know they are being abducted, until after. Overtime, the people recollect memories or feelings. Some say they have seen a huge object in the air, not knowing what is was. Or, they state their closer encounters, being dissected and experimented by the extraterrestrial. These people that remember these encounters usually experience sleep paralysis, hallucinations, a tendency to recall false memories, and have “magical” ideations. In the passage, “Five Traits That Could Get You ‘Abducted by Aliens’”, it asserts, “Indeed, many of those people who claim to be alien abductees are seemingly sincere, psychologically healthy, nonpsychotic people. . .Professor Rich McNally and his colleagues at Harvard University have spent over 10 years researching the psychology of alien abductees, and in particular why it is that some people embrace the identity of ‘alien abductee.’ His research has isolated a number of traits possessed by ‘alien abductees’. . .
