As a child, I would go to every sports game that you could possibly imagine, but the sport that intrigued me the most was basketball. Seeing the players doing incredible things, the fans getting hyped, the music blasting in the stands. What more can you ask for in a basketball game? I believe basketball is one of the most energetic and the best sport ever played since there are a variety of teams to choose from, there are opportunities for the spectators to get involved, and lastly, the fans don’t have to deal with the inclimate weather. Therefore go to a basketball game once in awhile.
I believe that basketball is a good sport since they have multiple teams. Basketball itself would get boring if there were only 3 teams to choose from. According
A question that is commonly asked about professional basketball is, Could players from the WNBA compete in the NBA? The answer is clear. Women could not survive in the NBA. Men are physically stronger and faster, better natural athletes, and naturally smarter within the confines of sports.
I play basketball, not only because it gives me a source of exercise, but it also allows me to be engaged in a competitive atmosphere again. To play basketball, you start knowing little and learn from your coach a lot more. It is important to learn how the game works from the different techniques of the game to the rules, goals, and communication that come with the game of basketball.
Most players that enter the NBA draft early are 19 or 20 years-old. They are going to end up playing against 25-year-olds that are stronger, faster, and that have had more experience than they have. Along with more experience, they will not be as physically fit because one or two years of college will not do it, and high school will not do it. For example, Lebron James. He is considered one of the best to have played the game, and he went straight out of high school. Imagine if he had gone to college, he would be so much better. So if they leave after the freshman or sophomore year, they will be about five or six years behind and that will make it harder to get a spot on the bench. If they do not make it to the bench, then they will be in the D league for 2 or 3 years to help develop their skills. “The D-League uses a tiered compensation system that's based on experience. Players with ample NBA
No matter what sport you may find interesting, basketball will always be one of the greatest. From China to France, England to Australia basketball is not just a game but a part of life. It doesn’t matter if you’re better than LeBron or worse than Austin, the real winning in basketball is the smile on your face when you hit that jumper, or assist that alley-oop, or even dribble the ball down the court. Basketball isn’t just found in the dreams of small children, but is also found in the hearts of many.
Dodgeball is loved by children across the nation. I know this because I’m one of them. Our class always wines to play it and we get to on Fridays as our reward for making it through the week. If we get rid of dodgeball we have to replace it with something. Tag is not an option as it’s also banned in many schools for being to rough. According to The Weak Shall Inherit The Gym- Not only tag but even musical chairs and duck goose has been banned for being unfair. Those games have been added to the Physical Education Hall Of Shame. The things that replace dodgeball is even worse. There is jump rope without a rope so you can never fail! Also there is swedish baseball where you get free passage to a base and get a 2 minute massage. These new P.E games aren’t fun they’re torture. It’s like playing a card game and you get to play any cars you want and everyone wins.
What could you do to prepare your kids for success in the future? Sports are one of the best ways to prepare kids for success in the future for many reasons. According to University of Missouri Health Care, “Sports require memorization, repetition, and learning - skill sets that are directly relevant to class work.”(muhealth). Not only do sports help them become better students, but they also prepare them both mentally and physically and teach them multiple life lessons that will better them in the long run. The great thing about sports is that anyone can participate as long as they have the passion for it.
For some people sports is just a game, to athletes it is their life. According to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) an athlete can only participate in their own school’s sports or club sports (OHSAA). This means at New Knoxville Local School, my school, my brother or any other athlete won’t be able to play football while attending school at New Knoxville. My intention is to make it possible to go to school at one place, but play sports at another school.
In conclusion, it can be stated that basketball is a sport that has a positive influence on individuals from a tender age right through their adulthood. The sport has improved the overall behavior and performance of young adults, teaches them teamwork and persistence. Basketball also brings unity in communities and races alike, and has a constructive influence on the economy as a whole.
Teaching kids to be leaders in today’s world is a hard task that many people have tried to do and have been unsuccessful, but youth sports, on the other hand, have no problem teaching kids these important life skills. Ever since Youth competitive sports existed people have been arguing over whether they are. Youth competitive sports teach kids many important life skills, for example, they teach kids how to work together with other people. Another life lesson that sports teach is leadership skills. Although some people say kids shouldn’t play youth competitive sports because they can get injured, the pros like teaching life skills outweigh the cons by a lot.
Are high school sports beneficial or not for students? I personally believe if a student is in a high school sport they’re forced to prioritize between school and their sport, and at a young age I believe the student would decide to use his time to improve in his sport instead of school. Which in the long run would affect his academics, unless they decide to stay up late and work on their homework to keep up with both school and their sport. But, even like that in time the lack of sleep would catch up to them, and cause them to do even worse in both academics, and sports. High school sports are like the lotto in my opinion, many play but only a few get rewarded for their work. Therefore, high school sports cause more negativity than positivity.
Basketball kept me and my friends connected we watch it and play it whenever we get the opportunity.
Someone is sitting on a stage with people clapping and people cheering, but they didn’t sing or dance, they did magic while playing a video-game. This is competitive gaming. People can see and know that gaming is fun. They are playing a sport. Some disagree with this, but many other people believe it is. The players must go to the gym for fast reactions and stamina and must be very mentally focused, and just agree to stick with the trends as well. Video gaming should be a sport.
On American campuses, there is an intensely disproportional amount of income funneled into athletic programs in contrast to student health programs. For, across the majority of college campuses, campus athletics are an important part of the image of the college. For college teams, going to nationals, winning championships and having astounding years are all ways to bring recognition, revenue and undergraduates to the campus. Colleges realize this personal, potentially beneficial impact of the success of their sports programs, and therefore desire them to succeed. In light of this possible payout, and indeed because of it, colleges often allocate large sums of funds to these programs in order to give them a further chance to succeed.

Basketball is one of the interesting sports I have always wanted to engage myself; even as a little child. It was a dream come true when I started playing basketball in my high school. Moreover, I was very good in it, and I became the team leader. Of course, I enjoyed every bite of the time I spent playing basketball.
