It eats away time that students could be spending time with family, friends, events, and adventures. When they are out and about they learn things about themselves and the things around them. Homework isn’t just unpleasant, it takes away time that student can experience other things. For example; many teachers assign homework over the weekend and it takes away time that students could use for organized sports, or to hang out with friends and their community.
