This quote by James McNeal states that,” Many Americans will spend lots of money on gas because they need their cars running for one and for two, their cars are their main transportation.” So that explains a lot from that quote because it’s basically states that you gonna need gas if you don’t want to be walking or catching the bus. You would basically be stuck in one place because gas or GAS MONEY is the only way that you’re going to get somewhere, because THERE’S NOTHING FREE IN THIS WORLD. Facts state that the average American spends well above $150 a week on regular gas and on the premium gas they spend about $180 a week. But here’s the catch to that, though….THAT’S ONLY IN THE SUBURBS! So what about the people that aren’t that fortunate as the suburb people and they stay in the rough parts of the city? Well, the answer to that is they often run out of gas trying to get to work and school spending about $15 a day on gas, which doesn’t cut it when REGULAR (meaning cheapest) gas is $3.40 a gallon that’s kind of tough to do. Many people can relate to that fact because there’s probably been plenty of times where you or one of your parents have ran out of gas when their funds are low. If so, gasoline is made from crude oil, which was formed from the remains of tiny aquatic plants and animals that lived hundreds of millions of years ago. These remains were covered with layers of sediment, which over millions of years of extreme pressure and high temperatures became the mix of liquid hydrocarbons (a organic chemical compound of hydrogen and carbon) that we know as crude oil. So there was just some interesting information that you can use to the mental down the stretch in life. In addition, gas can be very harmful to the earth because of how it comes out of pipes and into the atmosphere which can be very dreadful to the planet that we love and cherish.
