Education is our weapon Many students have difficulties during their college years. of our financial status and reach out to less expensive and affordable college. Now that the dream college that we always wanted to attend is eliminated. We now have realized that it’s reality and to stop dreaming the clock is ticking seats are filling up. Going through this process it would be the most stressful and the most difficult time in someone’s life mentally and emotionally. As teens just graduated from high school going to a different era in their lives. Sometimes most of us will still be depending on our parents to make the hard decisions and that’s fine. It will be that some of us haven’t totally developed yet to make those life-changing decisions. So, it’s extremely difficult to make these decisions without the help of someone. Also, suddenly becoming an adult is hard when it comes to colleges. As more and more doors close we start questioning why is this my life? We start believing this quote, “money can get you anything.” “money can buy you happiness.” At the end, we end up being like any average middle age teens that their dreams got crushed. Teens that were once told they can reach out for their dreams because they were the smartest of them all. “Why is this happening to me.” It doesn’t matter where life puts us, but what matters is how an individual is willing to accept it. After graduation of my high school, I’ve decided not to attend college. I spent over three months preparing for college admissions. Over three months of studying for the SAT and writing essays for colleges. But, all this hard work was blown away in just a week. The week before the May 1st, the decision day, I had made my decision not to attend college. I have decided to return to my country and start working. Of course, there was a strong disagreement from my parents, but I didn’t hesitate. For the past years, I have worked in many different kinds of places and I have faced the true reality. This made me want to attend college and brought me to Concordia College.
The critical challenge within in today’s society is that college tuition should be free or if not free, more affordable for all students. Certainly, higher education should not be considered a luxury where only the wealthy could afford, but an opportunity for all caste systems. It must be an accessible and affordable opportunity for all students in order for them to invest in their education. Higher education is important because it provides more careers to choose from than the careers offered without having a college degree. Ultimately, the issue here is whether it is right to make college tuition more affordable for the students.

The second most common diagnosis was severe anxiety. According to the article, it is not unusual for mental-health issues to become apparent during a student’s college years.
How does the rising cost of college tuition affect us? Every year thousands of students attend a college or university, usually of their choice, with the goal of achieving a higher education and to better their future. The cost of attending college is too high and it needs to go down; there needs to be more scholarship and grant opportunities. The high cost of attending college is a major reason that students aren’t able to achieve higher education; others take this as a challenge and it is motivation for them to work harder to achieve their goal. One might ask why would someone want to spend money to receive more education and miss out on more years of work that they could’ve performed? For many, it is so they can receive more salary for the jobs that they will have later in life, also so that they can get training for their wanted career. The rising cost has many benefits such as earning more pay, but it also has its disadvantages such as the debt that is accumulated from student loans. Not everyone can afford to drop down thousands of dollars and attend school for a few more years. Students who wish to receive a post-secondary education must decide whether it is the right choice for them depending on their financial standpoint, meaning that they must decide if they have the resources to further their education.
Children of the twenty first century spend nearly 13 years in school, preparing for what is college, one of the only ways to achieve the so-called “American Dream”. Life After High School I’ve just entered my senior year of high school. I know that this is a very important year. I have a lot of decisions to make and not much time to make them.
