"Our attitude towards immigration reflects our faith in American ideal. We have always believed it possible for men and women who start at the bottom to rise as far as the talent and energy allow. Neither race nor place of birth should affect their chances."(Kennedy) All people have a right to better their lives and advance by learning new skills. The proposed border wall between the United States and Mexico has been a large debate in society arguing who will pay for this wall. Pushing Mountains is a privately funded program that will benefit legal Mexican immigrants and Americans. Pushing Mountains is a program that will help by funding the proposed border wall and prepare legal immigrants from Mexico life to living in the United States by teaching Language and basic job skills. …show more content…

Each Mexican adult wants to know these type of skills the program offers before they reach American soil so they are prepared to live a normal life. Pushing Mountains charges legal immigrants five hundred dollars to take these classes. President Donald Trump proposed Mexico pay for the border Wall but Mexico did not support this proposal, so if they do not pay for it taxpayers of America will be entitled to pay this fee. Americans want to become a more safer state but at the same time not become bankrupt. By using this program, 5 percent of that fee would go to building the wall. The Border wall cost estimates at $8 billion to as muh as $67 billion or more, depending on how many miles of wall that will get built. Pushing Mountains will get the ball running getting more money into this wall which, Therefore will be completed at a faster rate then what it is currently.
