Ares
Ares is one of the greatest olympian gods of Greek. Ares is the god of war , battles and weapons. He is the son of Zeus the almighty god of thunder and lightning, and Hera. It is said that Hera concieved Ares by taking a magical herb. ___ Since Zeus was not technically the father of Ares, he neglected him. Ares wasnt in a safe enviroment as a child, so Hera sent him to Priapus to live. Priapus raised Ares till he was a grown man. Ares had a sister named Athena, who was the diety of warfare. Even though Ares and Athena both represented war, they had different aspects of it. For example , Ares representedthe primal nature of war. Its brutalness and violence. Ares fought in the war for the sake of fighting. However , Athena’s warefare was tactical that calculated each move with stategic strikes in order to forfill the job. Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, later rose from the sea where Uranus's body had been thrown. Now Cronus became king of the universe. Cronos married his sister, Rhea, and they had six children. At the time of Cronos's marriage to Rhea, Gaea prophesied that one of his children would overthrow Cronos, as he had overthrown Uranus. To protect himself, Cronos swallowed each of his first five children -- Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon -- immediatly after birth.

Although the 12 Olympians appear to be high and mighty, they contain many flaws. Zeus had a weakness for women and cheated on his wife, Hera, multiple times. Poseidon gets mad easily and causes storms. Aphrodite was unhappy with her marriage and this caused her to cheat. Overall, Ares is considered as the God that is the worst and is the God that I want to replace because he had a thirst for war, he cheated with Aphrodite, and he was the most hot-blooded God out of them all.
