Are Humans responsible For Certain Animals Extinction?

People do not have to do all the stuff they do that kills animals. Humans are responsible for the extinction of certain animals. Three things supporting this answer are animals are killed for foods, also there is litter(pollution) that kills them, and oil spills, these are the first two reasons that humans are the reason for certain animals extinction. The last reason people are the reason for certain animals are extinct or near extinction is that humans destroy the Earth.

The first reason that humans are the reason for certain animals extinction is animals are killed for food. There are at least 3,000 animals that die every second in slaughterhouses. Humans love fish, more than six billion

fish die every for food. This is just some animals that humans kill for food, there is almost no animal that goes unkilled for food at some point. This is only the first reason chosen.
The second reason humans are responsible for animal extinction is littering and oil spills.

Every year eight million tons of plastic get thrown into the ocean every year. Once there was a raccoon that had beer cans stuck to his paws. “The cans had been on his limbs for so long that he had tried to learn to walk with them, and both front limbs were completely damaged” (Johnson). There are more than twenty thousand oil spills per year. There is also not an exact number but millions of animals die from both litter and oil spills. This is a quote about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, “Bluefin tuna spawn just south of the oil spill and they spawn only in the Gulf. If they were to go through the area at a critical time, that’s one instance where a plume could destroy a whole species”(Dr. Larry McKinney). This is my second reason why animals are the reason animals are the reason certain animals are near extinction or extinct.

The third reason animals are the reason for certain animals extinction is that humans destroy the Earth. Fifty thousand animals die every year from deforestation. One hundred thousand animals die every year from plastic, which we do not throw away the right way. The worst one to me for humans destroy the Earth is that one hundred thousand animals die from animal testings. Humans also kill two hundred million animals per year by hunting, not even for food sometimes but sport. One million animals are killed by cars every day, humans kill animals, that is

it.
All of this proves that animals are dying because of humans. Humans kill for information with testing, for food with slaughterhouses. With litter for being lazy and oil spills with wanting more, deforestation with destroying habitats of animals and its food. These are reasons that animals are the reason for certain animals extinction. Think of this next time you do anything that might affect animals.
