Art has been one of the subjects which I enjoy the most and in my free time I like to research and develop my skills of fine art. I have a great interest in Art and Design which through out my educational career; I have learnt and developed my knowledge of fine art and 3d work. I have researched and worked on the bases which fine artist like Pablo Picasso or Van Gogh who were famous for their outstanding paintings and also worked in the way Kate Malone has presented fine pots which represents fruit and living objects. I have worked in these fields which the great artists have done and by following them and creating my own style of work which has given me the experience of the way these artists worked. I have an enormous interest in 3D work and one of my art works which I have done, a 76cm vases made from clay, then designed and craft apples and oranges around. This piece has been one of the successful works I have done. While building this large vase I have recognised that I have a creation with 3D work and basing this to my career. During the experience I have learnt to use colour, still life, live drawings, 3D work, ink painting, oil painting and many more.

..., as well as the management experience, to one day open an engineering firm, an aspiration sparked by my parents who ran their own small businesses. I hope to learn how to tackle problems associated with building structures of unorthodox yet sustainable design so that, as a structural engineer, I could bring to reality art that can endure tumultuous storms and dynamic humans. I want to build structures that in turn build the future.
I first heard of the word architecture when I was in the sixth grade. At that time it only meant the design of a building to me but as I grew, it grew onto me, I began to become more interested in architecture. Now I know that architecture is more than just the design of a building. It is coming up with the structure scaling and even the view of the top of a building or house and the sectioned view. In the future I see myself as a grown man sitting beside other people while coming up with a design which would one day affect the lives of many people in a positive way. This impact would contribute to helping people use areas and space in the right way, I want to make something which would be beneficial to everyone. I am a 17-year-old African American boy who attends Brooklyn High School of the Arts, where I currently major in art.
What fascinates me much, much more than anything else in my métier is the portrait, the modern portrait . . . I should like to do portraits which will appear as revelations to people in 100 years time."
...architects, the requirements that it will take to become an architect, and the entire outlook of this career. So know it’s up to the reader to determine whether they will become an architect or choose to take another route in their life. This is why me, Kendrick Smith, chose this career to be my money making mission.
My present interest in art is more graphic/typography based, although I do enjoy all areas of art. I have been designing graphics on my computers from a young age and have work published in national magazines. Not all the graphical work I do is computer based, I enjoy using traditional mediums in a clean graphical way, as I find it more satisfying working on a larger scale and producing something more "real". My current course has helped me "branch out" more; I have experimented in many disciplines successfully producing paintings, pastels and drawings, which I had never really developed fully before.
Over the last four years of studying architecture, I have seen the power that it has to shape communities, shape lives, and to create new ways that people interact with each other. The way architecture can help enhance living and allow for creation of new interactions of people is one of the reasons I find the subject so interesting. The way architecture can shape a whole culture and the way that the culture then in turn shapes the architecture is fascinating to me. Architecture is also not a static subject, it is constantly evolving and adapting with time to take on new forms, create new spaces, and to provide commentary on the history of our time on Earth. The depth that architecture has, and the evolution of the subject is something I have fallen in love with through my study of it. However, when I first started out studying architecture, I had no idea of the depth that the subject had, and it was an incredibly daunting realization; however, it was as equally exciting. I have always had a love for learning and architecture has just fueled that fire. Even after completing my bachelors degree, the learning has not stopped. I get to learn something new about architecture daily, and getting to say that is an opportunity I am thankful to have. It is not just about the learning however, its

Being an architect is a very important thing, you have a large amount of responsibility. You control a large aspect of someone’s life whether it is where they walk in a shopping centre or where they sleep and eat, and that is why it is very important to design for yourself and your client. You have to imagine the space as if you were there, you need it to be
If I was to choose any career, I would want to be a college art professor. An art professor teaches college students how to express them selves in a preferred medium such as painting or sculpting. Im sure teaching art would hone my skills in the medium I enjoy which is sketching portraits with either charcoal or ink. Like most professors, art professors are usually experienced in their favored medium. I feel like all educators should not just know what they are teaching but also know how to do what they teach, a math teacher should be educated in math to be able to teach it, a football coach must be immensely experienced in the sport so that he can teach his players to a professional standard. Being an art professor would be my dream job because I would get to work with they next generation of youth so I can influence them and teach them my point of view on art.
... you back in time and shown you have architecture was back in the olden days it’s time to summarize everything. As you might have learned from me architecture has really changed over the history of mankind and in many good ways. We went building structures out of sun dried mud to building them out of steel and concrete. We were revolutionized by many talented architects like Hemiunu and Ludwig Mies. Without some ideas and architectural advancement from our ancestors we wouldn’t have some of the things we have today. So we should really thank our ancestors coming from every corner of earth for the things they have given us. I personally really love architecture. When I grow up I want to be an architect, that’s my life’s goal. With that said this topic was really close to my heart. I hope you learned something new reading this essay. Thank you for reading.
All together the career of becoming an interior designer is a career that I could see myself pursuing because it has many interest that I would like to explore and also it is a career that I see as a great beginning for the future of my adult life into becoming a more better and skilled designer whether it’s an interior designer or fashion designer or graphic designer.
Behind every architectural work there is an architect, whether the architect is one man or woman, a small group, or an entire people. The structure created by any of these architects conveys a message about the architect: their culture, their identity, their struggles. Because of the human element architects offer to their work not just a building is made, but a work of art, a symbol of a people, a representation, is also created.
The profession of architecture, the possible career as an architect, taking steps to gain a position and education as well as the set growth and prospects of this profession. According to Lee W. Waldrep (2010), author of the book Becoming a Architect “A Guide to Careers in Design, an architect is an imaginative person who designs a wide range of structures for buildings”(p. 2). These structures not only have to be aesthetically pleasing, but must also meet the safety requirements. Architects have to compete with other architects to attract customers by presenting designs. This process is generally based on building a reputation as an architect. Due to the nature and the amount of time devoted to designing, architects
A recent study conducted by Building Futures in association with RIBA surveyed the various demographics of the construction industry to establish their thoughts and opinions in regards to the state of architectural profession today, and in the future. The document identifies the concern that conventional building design is shifting from the architects to the various sub-contractors for a multitude of reasons [Jamieson, 2010: 12]. The most obvious being the increased complexity and required specialisation of the building elements, which will further require a specific workforce utilising other educational qualifications. It is ironic that under this opinion architects have reverted back to their initial scope-depth state, having expertise in all but specialising in none. One could contribute this back to Vitruvius, who prescribed an architect to have an expansive knowledge including philosophy, arithmetic and geometry amongst others skills, effectively indicating that an architect should be a jack of all trades and a master of none. Thus an argument could be presented that it is the very nature of our education system, the one that forces us to immerse ourselves superficially in all aspects of the project, that makes us suitable to evolve from a design profession to a managerial role, The issue then
My inspirations are focus on mostly the graphics designing, although I have chosen to do applied art and design as a A levels subject I would like to discover the graphic designing in more detailed and depth and in future hope to do an idea which would be a applied art and design the graphics.
