Recommended: Les miserables film analysis

Anne Hathaway was born on November 12, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York. The talented actress has performed and starred in many films, she is best known for her roles in: The Princess Diaries, The Devil Wears Prada, Alice in Wonderland, The Dark Knight Rises, and Les Miserables.
From the beginning of her acting career, Anne Hathaway had always been successful. From her childhood up onto recent years, and she has won some awards to prove it! When she was younger, Anne Hathaway was accepted into The Barrow Group Company/acting school in New York City. I mostly recognized Anne Hathaway from her role in The Princess Dairies (2001), which happened to be my favorite Disney movie when I was younger! Anne Hathaway played the character Mia Thermopolis, a smart, corky teen who finds out that she is actually a Princess of a country called Genovia. For that film she won a Teen Choice Award. In Ella Enchanted (2004), played the role of Ella, it reminded me of a “Cinderella” story, she received mostly positive reviews. In The Devil Wears Prada (2006), Anne plays the role of Andrea Sachs, a struggling journalist with a demanding editor in chief. Her winning streak continued in the movie Rachel Getting Married (2008), her role as Kym earned her an academy award nod for best actress. Also in in the same year, she starred in a comedic sitcom Get Smart (2008). Demonstrating her acting range, Anne played the character Claire Summers, in the supernatural thriller- Passengers (2008). Eventually Anne, returned to warm and upbeat role in the film Bride Wars (2009), playing the character Emma Allan. This a comedic movie about two best friends; once again receiving positive reviews.
