Animal Farm is about equality and standing up for your rights. There was a preeminent leader named Old Major who inspired the animals to rebel against Mr. Jones, the farm owner, who treated the animals brutally. This ended up happening and although it wasn’t planned, the animals are living happily without Jones and his men.

Basically, in a nutshell, Animal Farm is a novel about farm animals triumphing over man only to fall prey to an evil and cunning dictator.
