115 million animals face animal cruelty every year. The animals that go through this tragic experience are mice, rats, dogs, cats, rabbits, monkeys, birds, and the list continues to grow. Over 25 million animals are suffering, harmed or killed for the use of cosmetic testing. They go through various test and are exposed to new chemicals. The purpose for them to be used as experiments is to as always gives us what we want without hurting us delicate humans during the process. What's the purpose of these experiments? Well it’s too basically give us everyday necessities like deodorant, lotions, and the everyday “must have” , makeup.
Even though the animal is suffering and being harmed, they’ll eventually die. The goal is to

The ones that were somewhat smart when they were alive donated their organs. That's generous but we're not trying to keep these humans breathing. We need them defunct. To the rest of these corpse they’re buried under dirt. Why do we bury worthless bodies under dirt when we can use them to help us, active, existing humans. Oh wait, because some of us existing humans aren’t getting enough oxygen into their brains. I propose instead of literally throwing away these bodies underground we should test every dangerous drug/chemical on them, and it would be ok because they wouldn’t cry about it. What’s the purpose of burying humans underground? To let the body stay at ease or so your emotional, sensitive self can stay at ease. You really think if they’re put in a box they’ll be safe and sound? Well wrong, they’re going to rot away and benefit decomposers. We’re already saving these animals lives, we’re not trying to give them benefits …show more content…
Do you not know how much it benefits you to not bury a body? Funerals cost thousands. Also assuming if you didn’t let them take the organs of the body I’ll assume you wouldn’t want the box in any ordinary box or beat up place to place it. So you’re basically wasting money for someone who can’t appreciate it because they’re dead. Let me give you helpful advice. DON”T WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON SOMEONE WHOS DEAD. They don't even have the ability to even care. Use that money and go treat yourself.
After you get over your emotional connection to a worthless corpse , this is where the rest of us start benefiting. Animal cruelty in cosmetic lines doesn't make sense. Why are we testing items we want to use on our self on animals. Our skin are not the same. We are bare and they have fur and just scientifically we may be alive but we're not similar. So now we can use burn, harm corpses until we find that right shade of yellow eyeshadow the rest of us can wear. Don't worry males we have enough corpses to find that right shade of red that goes with your
In many parts of the world, animals are being used in laboratories are still suffering and dying to test cosmetics. In
“If you want to test cosmetics, why do it on some poor animal that hasn't done anything? They should use prisoners who have been convicted of murder or rape instead. So, rather than seeing if perfume irritates a bunny rabbit's eyes, they should throw it in Charles Manson's eyes and ask him if it hurts.” (DeGeneres, DG). Think about those animals imprisoned in cold cages, having nothing to do but wait, waiting in fear, knowing that when the time comes their cages will be opened, but not to set them free. Unable to react, unable to defend themselves, they rot in pain and mourn with isolation. And yet all we, humans, do is sit back and watch them suffer. Animal testing is the abuse of animals to develop new products. Although some people are against animal testing others agree that animals are needed in researches to find upgraded and new cures for developing diseases, to find advanced aesthetic products, and to find refine household products leading to a more satisfying quality.
Sadly according to the Humane Society International (HSI) article About Animal Testing “in the United states alone around 26 million animals are tested each year for medical and commercial research” (HSI) even though animal testing is not required to ensure that the cosmetic being sold are safe. From those 26 million animals being tested most are not protected by the federal Animal Welfare Act. The animal welfare act does not include birds, rats and mice bred for research, and it doesn’t include cold-blooded animals. Animals testing should be banned because the animals tested suffer immensely, also animal tested is unethical, and because there are many alternatives.
However, most people do not want to know details beyond cost or think about the actual embalming process. Funeral embalming preserves a corpse from decomposition so it can be displayed with dignity in funer...
Throughout history, beginning as early as 500 BC, animals have been used to test products that will later be utilized by humans (“Animal Testing” 4), what isn’t publicly discussed is the way it will leave the animals after the process is done. Many innocent rabbits, monkeys, mice, and even popular pets such as dogs are harmed during the testing application of cosmetics, medicine, perfumes, and many other consumer products (Donaldson 2). Nevertheless, there are many people whom support the scandal because "it is a legal requirement to carry out animal testing to ensure they are safe and effective” for human benefit (Drayson). The overall question here is should it even be an authorized form of experimentation in the United States, or anywhere else? The fact of the matter is that there are alternatives to remove animals out of the equation for good (“Alternatives” 1). They are cheaper, and less invasive than the maltreatment of the 26 million innocent animals that are subjected to the heartlessness of testing each year (“Animal Testing” 4). All in all, due to the harsh effects of animal testing, it should be treated as animal cruelty in today’s society.
The second possibility about the burial is just as creepy. Some families cannot afford the cost of the funeral, so they put the deceased into a temporary coffin. Once the money is raised, the corpse has to be raised and walk to their new resting place. Sometimes it may take years for the family to raise the money. Hence the Walking Dead of Indonesia.
The disposition of the dead is facilitated in variety of ways because people have died at all points in history and the living have always mourned the dearth of loved ones with some type of ceremony. The way a person is buried is sometimes the deceased person’s wishes as stated in a will or legal document or it could be the decision of the family. But most times once you are dead others can do with your body as they wish.
Animal cruelty occurs all over the world. The human race has a major effect on the natural world, especially animals. Animal cruelty is an example of how man has taken advantage of his power. Those exhibiting cruelty towards animals have been proven to have a tendency to harbor violent psychological problems. Animal cruelty occurs all over the world. Fortunately, many countries have enacted laws and penalties to stop this harsh behavior.
Animals and humans are very different, but one thing we have in common is the fact that we can both feel emotions and comprehend the world in a different perspective. Professor Peter Singer says, “The fundamental issue in determining how we may treat animals is whether they suffer and that the pains of animals and humans deserve equal considerations.” Vertebrates, also know as animals with a backbone, have the same nerves that humans have to feel pain. We have a moral obligation to animals to protect their rights as creatures of this earth and members of our modern day society. Animals have a life full of love and contentment, by torturing them we are denying them that right.
Imagine not having a choice and being used for experimenting without having any say at all. For everyone, this seems like a horrible nightmare; for animals this nightmare is their reality. It is unethical to sentence animals to life in a lab cage and to intentionally cause them excruciating pain. Industries even cram multiple animals at a time in a single cage where they are all subjected to food and water deprivation, forced feeding, forced inhalation, and long periods of phsycial restraint. Through the process, animals can be burned, poisoned, given diseases such as cancer, blinded, paralyzed and brain damaged. According to Humane Society International, most are even encountered with inflictions of burns and other wounds to examine the healing processes. Also with pain to study its effects caused from these experiments. These animals are rarely offered any form of pain relief, and in some cases, may be left to suffer until they eventually die. The poor, traumatized animals used in experiments are treated like nothing more than disposable lab equipment. Like humans, they can feel pain and fear. Just because they don't have the same abilities as humans doesn’t mean their life has any less value to them. That’s why these helpless and defenseless animals should stop being taken advantage of. The world does not need another mascara, shampoo, or household cleaning product so badly that it should come at
Animal testing has long played a part in the science of testing, and it still plays a very important role in the medical world. Testing on animals in order to create a cure for AIDS is one thing, but testing on animals for human vanity is another. Animal testing is used to test the safety of a product. It has kept some very unsafe substances out of the cosmetic world. However, in this day in age, animal testing is not the only way to test the safety of a product. Animal testing in cosmetics has decreased over the years. However, it is still used by many companies in America. Animal testing is not only cruel, but it is also unnecessary in today’s advanced scientific world.
It still comes as a surprise to me that with all the technology in today’s society, we are still relying on animals for cosmetic research. Some people think that it is acceptable and even justified to test on mere animals rather than risk hurting people. So, for these kinds of people, animal testing makes perfect sense. However, in my opinion, animals are living creatures and have the right to live out their lives as nature intended rather than simply surviving in cages while being poked and prodded with whatever scientists fancy. I think it is depressing and sort of grotesque that I am using products that have been tested on animals that are even commonly bred as our pets. So, I began my research to find out what companies still test on animals, why they do so, and what other alternatives they could use in place of animal testing.
If you plan to place the ashes in an urn or other container, they can cost anywhere from $50 to $1,000 and
Animal Cruelty has many forms, many reasons and most importantly many victims. It is a growing problem in today’s society. Many people may wonder why people abuse animals. The thought is simple, however the answer is a little more complex, there are three main types of animal cruelty. The three reasons are as follows: unintentional, intentional, and cruel intentions. I will discuss each one in more detail.
Cosmetic animal testing has been a controversial topic for decades but has recently gained more attention from the media due to oppositional organizations such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Those in favor of animal experimentation make the argument that they are taking animals’ lives to save humans’, but is it really necessary to subject animals to torturous conditions or painful experiments in the name of science? Animal experimentation needs to be abolished because it is unethical and selfish to destroy an animal 's life.
