Animal abuse is a travesty in our world that must be stopped. Every year, millions of animals suffer because of human actions, directly or indirectly. Whether it’s abused dogs and cats or even mistreated circus animals, their suffering is as real as it would be if it happened to us. Even animals who are raised on farms simply for human consumption should not have to suffer. One of the worst parts of humanity’s role in animal abuse is that there are easy ways for people to help that they are either ignorant of or simply refuse to do. There are many examples of animals who are abused by humans, but there are also ways for people to help prevent and put an end to animal abuse.
Many people who abuse animals do not realize that they are actually hurting animals, this is known as unintentional. When some people try to discipline their pets they use tactics that they think is acceptable, when in reality is probably not the best way. People also abuse animals due to lack of attention, such as forgetting to feed and water the animals for a number of days. A family may take the animals with them when they leave the house, and forget to leave a window down with the animal inside. One of the biggest unintentional ways of animal cruelty is a way that many people think is helpful but is actually has a negative impact on all of the animals involved, this idea is trying to take in more animals than one can handle, they have good intentions but this is harmful to animals because it forces them to live in unhealthy conditions. Everyday more and more people start losing themselves and hunt on animals to “solve” their problems. These people believe that they are the dominance in the world. They believe that they are the most important living creatures on earth, and take leadership in believing that animals are made to serve the people. This myth is unethical and cruel, animals themselves have a heart and feelings. They each have their own dilemma going on and like humans, they are one of the most important factors to exist on earth.
I am willing to take a stand for animal cruelty, because I like animals and it is sad to to think about the animals that are being mistreated. There are so many things you can do to help animals that are being mistreated you can help raise awareness, Donate, and volunteer at animal shelters to help the animals that were mistreated. When you donate, that dollar you donated could have saved a life if you volunteer at animal shelters. That will save the shelter money to help animals instead of spending the money on workers to work at the shelter. When you raise awareness people will know more about what if going on in the world and can help animals be adopted and also save other animals from being mistreated. There is also events where kids can go and help the animals at the shelter in paoli they go once or twice a month to go and help clean the cages and feed and water the cats and dogs at the animal shelter. And the more people who
