Animal abuse can be either deliberate abuse animal or simply failure to take care an animal. It is a crime of inflicting physical pain, suffering or death on an animal. Not just only killing the animal but the action of putting an animal into a danger situation is also consider as animal abuse. The actions that causes harm or suffering the animal for specific gain, no matter the animal is a pet, livestock or wild animal, the action is defined as animal abuse. Human torturing the animal for their own specific gain such as using animal skins and furs to make cloth and bag, animal meat to make delicacy, ivory and rhino horn to make traditional Chinese medicine, using animal as experimentation for product and training animal to make fun as entertainment
Although animal abuse seem as a shameful act but it still exist in all parts of the world and the most common victims for animal abuse are dogs and cats. According to Today News, there are 10 countries that well known in animals abuse cases which are Netherlands, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Venezuela, Egypt, Spain, China, Australia and Japan. These are the countries that practice animal cruelty by poisoning the animals, torturing the animals, being violent to animals and also killing the animals. Netherlands which is well known in trade the live animals while they are sick, throw the baby chicks into the paper shredder, kills animals for art and beat the dogs to death. Greece is known for killed the wolves in cruelty ways, poisoning the stray animals and butchering the sea turtles.
