• Weakness- Declining profits affecting margins. With rising costs to run, maintain, and protect ships, passengers, and the environment it takes a chunk out of the bottom line.

The Provision Master may need to consider where the passengers from like US based, European based or Asian based because different region passengers consume different things. WEAKNESSES: The first weakness was the changing of three different CEOs in only one year. These were unexpected changes, but all had to be dealt with by the newest CEO Jim Skinner, and directly after McDonald’s first ever quarterly loss in 2003. The second weakness is an issue with trying to find new and exciting things to put on the menu to bring in new customers. Many of today’s fast-food customers are making different kinds of foods, like Chinese and Mexican food, normal to the everyday menu.
One of the key factors of the successful diversification is the very strong branding of the name Disney. That the name was famous after the success in the early years made it among other things possible to go into the theme park industry. Evaluated isolated, the theme parks was a success. But when also accounting for the synergies created, the decision to go into this industry was a huge success. It has created a spiral of synergies, where the characters in the movies get more popular due to the parks, as well as the fact that when people are visiting the parks they get stimulated to buy the merchandise. This is just one example of the synergies that exist in Disney. When Michael Eisner took over control in Disney, he kept focusing on same corporate values as earlier, which are quality, creativity, entrepreneurialism and teamwork. These values have been preserved despite of the size of Disney, and are an important factor in sustaining and building the Disney brand.

Currently, Sea Goddess Cruises is alone in a business sense. They are not associated or affiliated with any larger cruise lines. It may be lucrative or profitable for Sea Goddess to lose this autonomy. SGC should attempt to merge with a larger company, such as Carnival. A larger company might want to “adopt” SGC as a smaller, “little sister” type of company. This could boost customer awareness greatly. For example, if a couple is looking to take an expensive, private cruise, they may look to Carnival. Carnival Cruise Lines or the travel agent may view Sea Goddess as more fitting for this couple. They could recommend to the couple they might be more suited for a Sea Goddess cruise. The relationship could be reciprocal, because Sea Goddess or a travel agent could, in return, refer a family of six to a Carnival cruise. They could also cooperate together in advertising schemes.
Several weaknesses in airline operations were identified as the causes of the RM1.3 billion loss. These included esclating fuel prices, increased maintenance and repair costs, staff costs, low yield per available seat kilometer ("ASK") via poor yield management and an inefficient route network.
Without a doubt, no beverage company compares to Coca-Cola’s social popularity or brand notoriety. Some people buy coke, not only because of its taste, but because it is also the most socially accepted brand. Another strength that is very important to Coca-Cola is customer loyalty. For instance, in a household where parents are avid Coke drinkers, this will be passed down to their children. Customers will continuously but Coke.

I was smacked in the face by a gust of hot, humid Texas air as I found my way off the bus. The once brisk morning was getting hotter by the second. My friend Kristi and I looked towards our left and there she was, the Norwegian Sea. The cruise liner that we would be on for the next week. It was the biggest ship I had ever seen up close. Ten stories high and nearly 1000 feet long. It had an intimidating presence that took one's breath away.
According to Cruise Market Watch (n.d.) the revenue generated by cruise tourism is estimated at US$36.2 billion with about 20.9 million passengers carried for 2013. This shows that the cruise industry is undoubtedly a profitable industry with a pool of like-minded tourists, where cruise companies are the one-stop shop offering a comprehensive package for a vacation.
...y due to a water wastage allegation (). Another weakness is their premium pricing, which has competitors with lower prices eroding their market share, especially in times of economic downturn. Pricing has also proved to be a weakness in markets such as China.
Wow! I am really going on a cruise today. When I get all my things together at my house I hit the road and drive to our destination. When I arrive to my destination, there is very many people there, and very enormous cruise ships beside me. I walk around for a little while until they tell me to get ready to border the ship. It takes me a while until I reach the entrance to the cruise. When I get closer it gets bigger and bigger and it blocks off the sun from me. When I look up to the entrance the door rises down and everyone hurries in so they can get in their room and I do the same. I finally reach the top and I go inside and it is very magical and wonderful.
