Since Busch Gardens had opened its doors, it had done a great job at getting people’s attention and meeting their needs with its unique wild animal themes and its appreciation for nature. With all of the different events the park hosts during the year, marketing activities are directed towards different target markets which includes mothers, families, couples, thrill-seekers, etc…Although Busch Gardens have had great success over the years, the company fails to keep up with the other major theme parks who are more advanced with their technological devices such as Disney’s MagicBand. With the new ride, Falcon’s Fury, opening on May 1st, 2014, it will be a great opportunity for Busch Gardens to attract even more guests to the park.
Start with the first important difference between Walt Disney and Universal Studio in point of the theme
My opinion though is that Universal Studios Orlando is awesome and fun that a lot of people will enjoy. Some information about Universal Studios is that it has a lot of different types of rides. They have different sections of the park with different types of themes like the Harry Potter theme. That is one of its biggest attractions to the park. There is so much to do at the park you can go on rides, eat at restaurants, or just walk around the park
Universal Studios is an action pack theme park were you can go on a quest with Shrek and find his wife princes Fiona or help the min in black kill aliens in an alien hunt to save society. Universal is also known for the character interactions, while walking to our next you I ran into a transformer patrolling the streets making sure we get to our next ride safe, then I seen the minions from despicable me waving and talking to people. Universal also have a variety of other things to do such as shows. One of my favorite shows is the blue man group. The blue man group Is a musical and somewhat of a comedy show using your everyday things an instruments such as, a garbage can, glass bottles, glass plates and many more. After attending the park, we went back to the hotel to get dinner and bowl at the hotels bowling alley called
In the recent times, another castle which has come to the limelight in California is Universal Studios Hollywood, which has risen in heaps and bounds and is currently poised to threaten the position and the royalty of Disneyland as the premier theme park.

Sparked Walt Disney World in Florida in 1971, Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan in 1983, Euro Disney in Paris in 1992, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in 2005 and finally Shanghai Disneyland Resort, which is opening in June 2016 (Dehrer). Walt Disney hosted the opening of Disneyland in June 17, 1955 even with all the chaos he managed to give one last sliver of hope to those yet to experience the magic of it all “ To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” (Bryman
The Disney also sees immense possibility in the sequels of the character based movies. The success of Avengers is a recent example and therefore the company plans a sequel for Captain America 2, Iron Man 3 etc. This will boasts the overall revenue generated by the company. The company is now betting heavily on the introduction of theme parks across the globe especially in emerging markets like China, India, Brazil and Russia (BRIC nations). The growth rate of 10% in theme parks and successful implementation of theme parks in Hong Kong, Japan and France allows the company to develop and construct the Disneyland theme park in Shanghai, China.
Ever since I was a child, my family and I have been Disney fanatics. The Disney empire has created many amazing places, but my favorite location to visit is the Walt Disney World Resort. Every day 50,000 people from all over the world arrive at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to experience the magic. When the park first opened its gates in 1971, 10,000 visitors made their way through. That number has multiplied five-fold and continues to multiply to this day. Since the 1971 opening, over 600 million people have experienced the magic of Disney. In my lifetime, I have visited the park with my family and friends six times. Each visit lasted four days in order to experience all the parks and their unique offerings. When I’m in Disney World, the experience each time is incredible.

If it would be profitable to split up Disney means that the NPV of the company is higher split up than the company in going concern in its present state. Doing this calculation is a complicated issue, which is outside the scope of this study question. But based on the above answers it does not make sense to split up Disney. Doing this would be very value destructing because it would not be possible to take advantage of the synergies, as well as the fact that one of the worlds best branded names would be thrown away. If Disney at some point of time gets into financial problems the solution therefore will not be to split up the core of Disney. There are though businesses that can be sold away. Examples of this are the Disney Magic Cruise and the Anaheim sports teams, which are not in the core of Disney and could be sold without destroying brand value and synergy. Especially selling the cruise would release quit a lot of money, so we expect that this will be the first thing to be sold. It would also be possible to outsource the hotels and restaurants in the theme parks. But splitting up the core of Disney would not make any sense.
