When the dust settled, Woods was divorced, humiliated by the majority of the ensuing stories that turned out after everything took place, and had to take a leave of absence from the PGA tour after revealing that he was battling an extreme sex addiction. He hasn't won a major championship from that point forward, and most would say that the scandal single handedly changed his career and legacy entirely. When Tigers scandal began to settle, countless mistresses started to come out and make allegations that they were engaged in sexual activity with him. In almost 150 years baseball history, only the great Willie Mays can match Ken Griffey Jr. in these statistical categories. However, despite these extraordinary stats, Ken Griffey Jr. may be the ultimate “What Could Have Been” player. An incredibly promising career was derailed in the latter half by chronic injuries that robbed him of hundreds of games. If not for these injuries, Griffey was well on his way to becoming the Home Run King (Stark, 2010) and possibly the greatest player ever. Despite these setbacks, Griffey is still revered as one of the greatest and most popular MLB players ever. The savior of baseball in Seattle and the lone star to stay above the darkness of the steroid era, Griffey will go down in history as a legendary athlete.

Tiger does not once deny that he was unfaithful to his wife, or that he betrayed his friends, fans, and family. Although he took full responsibility of his actions, he denied claims made by the media concerning his involvement with performance enhancing drugs, and his wife’s actions. It seemed kind of off-base for Tiger to address allegations involving the use of steroids in a speech focused on apologizing for his actions as this was a blatant distraction from the issue at hand. In addition to this, Tiger also denied any rumors in circulation that his wife had hit him. He claimed that there had never been “an episode of domestic violence” in their marriage. By stating this, Tiger was successful in creating a sense of no...
People come to being on the road for countless reasons and though there is no real certainty on the road, there are two things that are certain, the road stands in opposition to home and your race and ethnicity plays a major role on the trajectory and the way others treat you on the journey. African Americans have an especially strong connection to road narratives. This is because, from the beginning, the race’s presence in America was brought by forcing them on to the road against their will. It is for this reason that there are countless narratives, fictional and non-fictional, of black peoples on the road. For Birdie Lee, a literary character, the beginning of the road marks the end of her comfortable home life and the beginning of her racial

He won seventy-three PGA tour wins and eighteen majors, meaning that he won either the U.S. open, the Open Championship, the Masters Tournament, or the PGA Championship eighteen times! Jack even won PGA tour player of the year five times! Jack’s accomplishments are very good but we have to start at the beginning.
Tiger Woods undoubtedly has his flaws and has to face the consequences of his actions but I think with the right support system and therapist he can make a complete turnaround. He is oblivious of the correct way someone should love; it should be unconditional and nonjudgmental. I hope that he can find his way to self-actualization where he can learn to grow and be happy.
