After watching every episode numerous times, I have gained the following lessons that I feel we can all apply at some point in our lives. 1. The people you surround yourself with contribute to your success. Vincent Chase was the star, but a lot of his success was due to the company he kept around him -- Johnny Drama, Turtle, Ari Gold and Eric Murphy all contributed to his success. They were there for him during the ups as well as the downs -- and always had his best interest in mind. "you should surround yourself those that will push you to succeed. It might be slow, but they will eventually sink your ship." You want to make sure that you surround yourself with like-minded people that won’t interfere with your goals. The company you keep should be there for you when times are tough in addition to being there to celebrate the victories. 2.Think big Entourage is based around Vincent Chase, an A-list movie star and his childhood friends from Queens, NY. They all moved out to Los Angeles to “make it” in Hollywood. The media glamorizes Hollywood, just like they do Successful Startups such as Snapchat and
The story A Television Drama, by Jane Rule is an exciting story about an unusual event, which the main character, Carolee Mitchell, experiences the end of. The story is about her quiet street becoming unusually busy with police officers, and how the man who is being chased by these officers ends up being outside her front door. Through the point of view of the story, the characterization and character change of Carolee Mitchell, and the setting of the story, A Television Drama is an exciting read. The story conveys how important it is to be aware of ones surroundings, and what is happening around oneself through these elements.

...e the beginning of time, Television has been one the most influential pieces of media that the world has ever encountered. Bravo TV’s hit number one reality television show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, deals with the everyday lives of modern-day “housewives”. When speaking of these women and their family life, the show shows its viewers that family life in modern times is dramatic, full of misrepresentations of how people are perceived, and how fame comes at the cost of family. The show stands strong with the critics and its faithful viewers around the world. Clearly, the show is not going astray anytime soon. Families who watch the show will eat up the drama and prays that their families never deal with those petty types of problems. The world will keep spinning in the television cycle, and drama will continue to invade the homes of millions of Americans.
“And who am I? That’s one secret I will never tell….You know you love me xoxo Gossip Girl”. Gossip Girl, an anonymous blogger, gives people minute to minute updates on the scandalous lives of the Manhattan Elite. The audience never finds out who Gossip Girl is, until the last Gossip Girl episode made. Like the powerful anonymous blogger Gossip Girl, Alloy Incorporated, the owners of the show, is an influential company whose identity goes unnoticed. Even if one spend years studying the field, the company is easily overlooked since it does not own a major network channel like ABC or NBC. What cannot be overlooked though is the success of its TV programs, which everyone has have heard of. Alloy Inc. is responsible for some of the most influential

In order to complete an analysis of a television show through six basic theoretical approaches, I chose to use the pilot episode of Gossip Girl due to its strong representation of class differences. In this episode, the interesting characters of the Upper East Side are introduced and viewers begin to get a sense of the lifestyles that they live. From the elite, to the middle class, issues and attitudes are established. All of the main characters attend an established private high school and seem to backstab each other as a form of entertainment. The main issues of this first episode are Serena sleeping with her best friend’s boyfriend, Lower class Dan’s infatuation with the upper class Serena, and Chuck being an overall bad person and predator
The lessons are numerous and range from trivial to profound, but there’s one that's had the most impact on my life. Fortunately, I was born into a unconditionally loving family with good health and parents that I feel comfortable talking to under almost any circumstance. Until I got to really know my friends, I was aware that not everybody’s lives were like this but never really understood what a life without those privileges was like. But then my perspective changed when I found out that a couple of my friends have terrible relationships with their parents and suffer from depression and anxiety. Another one of my friends suffers from chronic migraines and has been hospitalized three times in the past year. All of my friends are incredible individuals, and knowing in detail of what they withstand on a daily basis has made me more empathetic to the people around me. I think we all forget sometimes that other people are people, we subconsciously go into this state of mind thinking we’re the center of the whole world. But in actuality, that is not the case; everyone else has their own unique lives and issues they’re dealing with. So what I’ve learned by knowing of my friends’ distinctive stories is just to be more cognizant of others. It's difficult to have that state of mind all the time, but in doing so I have better relationships with
Since its premier in 2012, I have taken interest in a particular television show called ‘Impractical Jokers. ' The television show follows three real-life best friends, who love challenging each other to the most outrageous dares and stunts ever caught on hidden camera. These friends frequently find themselves pushing each other to break social norms. This television show is where I acquired the
My stakeholders include family, the company I work for, coworkers, friends, and the local community. My family and friends expect success from me, just as I will expect success from them. My co-workers expect positive teamwork skills and dependability. I expect my teammates to be just and
However, along with the team element, we must remember one notion. Live life for you. Expect more out of yourself. Expect to reach the finish line, expect to finish first and expect to finish in one piece. Don't live your life striving to fulfill the expectations of your parents, your professors or your bosses. Live up to your own. Raise your expectations. Exceed them. Reach your potential.
The TV series ‘Gossip Girl’ was filmed and produced from 2007-2012. It used to be a very popular show at the time in which it was being produced, then it transitioned to being available as a DVD set, and then, now, it is a popular TV series on Netflix. Netflix is how I discovered the show ‘Gossip Girl.’ This show is staged mostly in New York City, in the Upper East side. It shows the dramatic and elegant lifestyle of the wealthy in this area of the world.
