Have you ever watch a movie and not matter how many times you watch it you never get tire of watching it? There are many great and wonderful movies the always has a good message and give us a great lesson. One of my favorite movie of all-time is the call “The Pursuit of Happyness” It is an American film directed by Gabriele Muccino, the first starring Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith. I have too many reasons for why I like this particular movie, and every time I watch it I learn something different, is like you’re learning a different thing every time you watch that movie. “The Pursuit of Happyness” is one of the films that in every scene make you think and reflect. This film is about a Man that lost his form of income because he invested …show more content…
One of my favorite scenes from this film is when will smith is talking with his son and he told him: “Don’t ever let somebody tell you, you can’t do something, not even me. Alright? You got a dream you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you can’t do it. If you want something go get it. Period. At the end of the movie he made his dreams come true, after so much effort, so many falls, so much rejection he never gives up, and all of this was because he wanted to make his dream come true to show his son, that everything in life never will be easy, because if you want something big, you have to work big to make it happen.
In conclusion, there’s always going to be a particular movie the you not get tired of watching it, not matter how many times. “The Pursuit of Happyness” is one of the movies. I really recommend it to you, and the best thing about this movie is that you can watch it with your family, and you can share opinions each other about the movie. And the best message “always remember happiness is all about be yourself not matter what other people tell you, be okay with who you are.
In contrast to Aristotle, Roko Belic’s documentary “Happy” provides a fresh perspective that takes place far more recently. The film sets out to similar goals of Aristotle in defining the nature of happiness and exploring what makes different people happy in general. Unlike Aristotle, however, the film’s main argument refers to makes people happier. In this case, the film argues that merely “doing what you love” is what leads to happiness (Belic). The argument itself appears oddly self-serving, considering that message is what underlines the foundation of happiness, yet there is a subliminal message that a simpler lifestyle is what leads to what the film is trying to convince you of. The message itself is obviously addressed to Americans, considering
This paper will include the analysis of the movie Hope Floats. It will start with a short summary of the movie describing the characters and the plot. This paper will discuss three key family system’s issues that includes the family concepts, assessing one from Bowen’s concepts, one from Minuchin’s concepts, and one from General Systems Theory/Anderson and Sabatelli concepts. There are many different scenes and examples in this movie that will give a better understanding of the many different family dynamics, family issues, and family system concepts.
Happy is a documentary that brings to light the different types of livings of people around the world and contrasts how they define happiness. The movie starts out in Kolkata Slum, India, with a man Manoj Singh. Manoj is living a relatively impoverished life. His house isn’t the best, in fact the roof is just a tarp however he says “my home is good.” Manoj is quite happy with his life and it’s not because of his minimal possessions but the community around him. His happiness lies in the fact that he can see his son smiling every day and he is so grateful for his neighbors and friends. He even states himself that he doesn’t consider himself as “poor but the richest person.” Manoj’s happiness is described as the same as the average American.
Where do babies come from? The Birds and Bees, the stork, and the “talk”, at one point in time, we’ve all heard versions of where babies come from. In the film, Life’s Greatest Miracle, the question of where babies come from is answered in much more detail than many of us knew when we heard our own versions. In this essay, I will discuss the pattern of development, aspects of the movie, and the hindrances of successful conception, how sensitivity to food smells could protect the developing fetus, lastly address concerns in the movie that the mother and father had about childbirth.

People are biases about every aspect of their life. From religion, to the people they date, to the type of toothpaste they use, people already have a preset judgement about things because of experiences in their past. In the book Stumbling on Happiness, author Daniel Gilbert says the ability to think about our future is what separates humans from other animals. Gilbert suggests that our brains fall victim to a wide range of biases that cause our predictions of the future to be inaccurate. Due to these mental errors it is remarkably difficult to predict what will actually happen and what will make us happy.

Good Will Hunting is the graceful tale of a young gentleman’s struggle to find out where he belongs in the world, by first finding out who he himself is. In this film, Matt Damon takes on the role of a disturbed genius that has a keen understanding of the deepness of human character. The film is a voyage through the mind of Will Hunting as he is required to undergo psychotherapy as an alternative to serving jail time. With the assistance of a psychologist, played by Robin Williams, Will learns about himself and recognizes his individual worth in the world by comprehending what is most important to him in his own life. This motion picture serves as a source of superb example for film technique. Gus Van Sant’s directing ability joined with the writing skills of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who also plays Will’s best buddy, Chuckie, is a vibrant mixture of technical features used to induce sentiment and compassion amongst the viewers of this heart-warming film. Characteristics of the color, angles, shots, camera movement, editing, and distortions are all each particularly noteworthy to the general composition of Van Sant’s Good Will Hunting.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, what about happiness? Some would say that happiness is simply apart of life, while others feel it is something that one should chase. Nevertheless, in 1981 Chris Gardner a salesman from San Francisco, California in the award winning movie The Pursuit of Happiness had big dreams for his family but things did not turn out the way he intended. However, Christopher Gardner continued to strive and take a chance to chase his happiness even if it took loosing his wife and his home.
To conclude, I think this movie is a good example to show how a homeless person lived and how he survived his life from being a homeless. Throughout all his life he showed what can determination do even though there are obstacles in the way. Doing is best paid off his hardships. So from dreaming big, be determined on what you're trying to do, and be responsible on things will make you succeed in the future.
Since the movie came out in 2006, “ The Pursuit of Happyness” has been one of my favorite movies. A non-fiction movie based on a true story, of a man called Chris Gardner and his son Christopher Gardner Jr. Both these roles are played by the famous actors Will Smith, and his real life son Jaden Smith. In this very inspirational movie, directed by Gabriele Muccino, Will smith plays out Chris Gardner when he was struggling to start as a stockbroker while being a father in need of money. This movie takes place at San Francisco in 1981, and has always meant a great deal to me. Inspiring me to always work my hardest in order to be successful in life. On this movie that is the message it holds, to inspire people to dream big, and to not let anyone
Have you ever sat through an awkward family dinner where you could cut the tension with a butter knife? Well, multiply that by a hundred and then add suicide, adultery, psychosis, racism, and alleged child abuse and you’ve got The Celebration.

“You only have one life so live it right do what your heart tells you and go for that one thing in the world that will make you happy” (The Pursuit of Happiness). Is contentment not what we all seek? Since birth we establish an idea, an idea which alternates within time. Children want to be superheroes, and princesses’ positions that bring them pleasure. So what has changed in ten long years that have alter my way of cognitive thought? Although I am still devoted into finding my happiness I have realized that I can’t do so by tying a towel behind my back and carelessly pretending to be a cape crusader. No, no what I now require is goals and timelines that will amplify the percentage of my success.
