The film started by emphasizing the character’s personality. Mark is a part of theater play called “The Crying Divas” with his two co-theater actors, Ricci Chan and Jojit Lorenzo. John thinks if his best friend Mark is a successful theater actor, he can make his funeral more convincing. This film tackles how important the friendship between these two gays and how they surpassed a plot twist in their life. Their friendship tested by John’s act of treason. Mark did not hesitate to forgive his best friend because they’ve been through a lot of things together and by just for a man, their friendship will be torn apart. And now he back on track as his film Deadma Walking chosen to be part of the said annual film festival. Director Julius has been a lot of twist and turns to make this kind of film because he didn’t believe that Joross and Edgar Allan will take the main roles of his masterpiece. According to his statement on Hataw! Tabloid, he first thinks Aga Muhlach will be played as John, the Dying Diva and Roderick Paulate as Mark, the Crying Diva. He even considered Derek Ramsay, John Lloyd Cruz and Dingdong Dantes but these actors did not turn out well and they think Joross and Edgar Allan will definitely shine in this film since they were had a lot of projects of portraying gays. This film really fits to their gay acting skills. This is the best film they’ve been made as gay actors so far. No sweat and effortlessly acting given by these two great actors.
All throughout the film, you will notice that this comedy-drama musical film was similar to MMFF 2016 Entry, Die Beautiful, that Paolo Ballesteros leads the role of a dying beauty queen. Their similarities, both the lead characters were gay and at the same time they are both best friends and it also tackles about death. Both films have their own style of tackling their own theme. Die Beautiful is more accurate but sensual scenes rather than Deadma Walking because there has a scene that Paolo have been raped of four men. Although, Deadma Walking has another
The production had many elements which for the most part formed a coalition to further the plot. The characters, the three part scenery and costumes represented well the period of time these people were going through. As far as the performers entering and exiting the stage, it could have been more organized. There were a few times when the performers exited at the wrong times or it seemed so due to the echo of the music. At certain moments the music was slightly loud and drowned the performers. Many of the songs dragged on, so the pacing could have been more effectively executed. Though the music was off at times, the director's decision to have most of the songs performed center sage was a wise one. Also the implementation of actual white characters that were competent in their roles came as a great surprise to the audience and heightened the realism.
The film was about a group of people trying to survive the night against an undead horde. It first showed us a brother and a sister, Barbra and Johnny. They are visiting their father’s grave. Johnny rants about how this is a waste of time and acts very poorly in the cemetery. They are attacked by a zombie and Barbra leaves Johnny behind. She finds a farmhouse and runs inside, hiding from the zombie. Soon after, she goes outside and a new character named Ben is introduced. He helps board up the entire house to hold out for the night. He routinely lit things on fire and threw them in front of the porch, keeping the zombies at bay. Ben tried asking Barbra questions but she was no help. She wouldn’t talk about anything or explain her story to Ben. After barring up the windows and doors they are safe for some time. Now the rest of the characters are introduced,
Even though both films are highly reviewed, they both follow the same plot, but then have some major and minor differences. Herbert Ross and Craig Brewer directed an outstanding dancing film, that most American’s like looking at the reviews of the

When in the cemetery, Barbra and Johnny encounter a peculiar looking man who had been walking around the cemetery. The ¨Night of the Living Dead¨ started with Johnny and Barbara driving down a long dirt road, through a rural area. Their destination, the graveyard their father was buried in. As they arrived at the desolate graveyard, Johnny complained about having to deliver flowers to his own father´s grave. Johnny then decided to try to scare his sister for his amusement. He taunted her with ¨Theyŕe coming to get you, Barbara¨, until his sister ran from him. As she wove through the graves, and navigated through the fog, a mangled man who seemed as if in a trance grabbed her. Johnny managed to rip the man off of his sister but was shoved, and hit his head on stone, knocking him unconscious/ or dead.

people to Dead Man Walking may vary, the one constant is that people will have
Night Of The Living Dead a film that was in my opinion the first of its kind. It didn’t have the biggest budget when they filmed it. Yet a film I would watch again and again. The 1968 original film is a classic I really enjoyed. It didn’t have the most famous actors and actresses or the greatest acting in that case. It didn’t even have great film quality, yet I was glued to the film from the first minute to the last. I saw it as a change of scenery from the films we see today, and if you’re someone who likes black and white films you’re going to love this one.
...movie that I fell in love with. But most of all I love how the story line is a great overlap into the cinematically engaging movie. There is a great use of camera, timing, shots and story line that are portrayed in this movie without being too overwhelming. This allows the audience to relax during the movie and just take in the scenes as a story from reality. To this day, and even still doing this paper I still come to find different aspects of the movie that I missed the previous times I have watched it.
Avery Wells Professor Wilkenfeld English 102 02/08/14 “All Men and Women Are Created Equal” On July 4, 1776 it was said that all men are created equal. What the Declaration of Independence failed to mention was women. This seemed to be a common theme throughout the history of America and is still a problem to this day. Men are constantly being held up on a pedestal, while women are forced to assume the position of looking up to them. Zombieland (2009) tends to take these “old school” ways and sheds a new light on the fact that women too can be equal, if not better than some men.
Based on a true story, the movie ‘Lone Survivor’ features four Navy SEALs that set out on a mission to Afghanistan with orders to capture and kill Taliban leader Ahmad Shah. The Navy SEALS are detected by villagers and the mission was compromised. Ultimately, the mission had been discovered and the men found themselves surrounded by dozens of Taliban soldiers. One of the Navy SEAL soldiers managed to dispatch to base and retrieve assistance but the Taliban shoot down the helicopter. During battle, three of the Navy SEAL soldiers were killed leaving one still alive.
The movie Deadpool is written by Paul Whitreck and directed by Tim Miller. The movie is about a man named Wade Wilson who underwent an experiment to help cure his cancer. In doing so the experiment went wrong and he gained accelerating healing powers which messed his face up. However he received his name from a scene early in the movie when he was in the bar. The movie went back in forth as far as memories but Wade wilson named himself Deadpool based on how he looked and the condition he was in. He gains new abilities and is on a search for the person that nearly killed him during the experiment. The movie is a reintegration of the comic books by marvel of this alter ego killer, not your typical friendly superhero. Deadpool is one of my favorite movies because of the level of action/violence, the sound effects/special effect and the good acting in the movie.
The Walking Dead, a television show about surviving in the zombie world, is based on the comic book with the same name created by Robert Kirkman. In this show Rick Grimes, a sheriff's deputy, awakes from his coma and finds himself in a hospital. He soon discovers that while he was in a coma the world had become infected, turning humans into flesh-eating zombies later called Walkers by the characters. As Rick sets out to find his family he encounters many other survivors such as Glenn, Daryl, Carl, Maggie, Carol, Sasha, Hershel, Beth, and Michonne, among many others who have died along the way. Rick and the survivors have been through a lot throughout the show, such as having to move from place to place to avoid being eating by walkers. After walking a longs way, they finally find shelter in an old prison where they now live. Although The Walking Dead shows a lot violence, it sends many positive messages to the viewers that teach them about survival, religion and betray and how each of these can be beneficial in the real world
The title of the text is 'Zombie March,' and it is about a (now dead) husband who returns to his wife's home, but then faces rejection because death signifies the end of marriage (MacNabb, 2012). Following this, the husband gathers other zombies and starts a political movement (MacNabb, 2012).
The Walking Dead is an allegory for the real world. It presents audiences, the controversies of the conventional postmodern society amidst a post-apocalyptic drama. The series portrayal of dissolving humanity in unfeigned bleakness both reflects and inflames our societal perceptions and fears. Through an inhuman fallacy, (the zombie) The Walking Dead humanises the hopeless actualization of our corrupted world in all its postmodern traits. Therefore, the ambition for The Walking Dead is to exhibit a world pursuing a favourable equilibrium of peace and liberty but never achieving it as it is entirely a Sisyphean. In this essay, I will argue how cinema and humankind has fed into corruption within postmodernism.
